7 Strategy and Innovative Goals Transform traditional learning to keep up with the evolution of technology (e.g. multimedia learning books) and allow learning anytime and everywhere Become close to digital student habits of today Introduce mobile devices in the learning experience promote collaborative learning communities establish didactic/learning social networks overcome barriers of teaching time and space exploit connectivity (from school on the net to a net of schools ) 7

8 Main Characteristics A new proposition offering a complete solution of innovative, license-free, integrated web applications with a modular approach: multiplatform open source modules specifically developed to avoid software license costs totally independent from users hardware and operative systems cloud-based approach assuring flexibility and scalability; multitenancy reduces to zero impacts on school data centre Single-Sign-On and profiling system strengthen the security policy (guaranteed by the certifications achieved by Telecom Italia cloud infrastructure) supporting different types of educational contents from self-produced to web available to contents acquired from school editors ready to interwork with e-publishing platforms to acquire and securely manage digital contents 8
