JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS October 18, 2014 Clinical Nurse Specialist-Psychiatry Req. #130 Primary Location: Gardner & Fitchburg Under the general direction of the Behavioral Health Director and Director of Psychiatry Coordinates the comprehensive health care needs of the specific patient population and provides appropriate direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of specific conditions Participates in educational and research activities of the department. Massachusetts Licensed MLP-NP Certified in Massachusetts to practice in the expanded role as a Clinical Specialist in Psychiatry & MH Nursing Demonstrated mastery of a specialty area or other related field normally acquired by 3-5 years progressively responsible nursing experience Coding Reimbursement Specialist Req. #65 Assist with creation and distribution of educational material for all providers and staff on medical coding. To also include changes with federal and local healthcare regulations, policies and procedures. Review Clinic notes and charges for compliance and accuracy. Assists with training and educating providers and staff of coding and payer guidelines. Assist director with per specialty practice assessments: Identify potential risks to the organization; ensure compliance to policies & procedures, payer regulations and coding guidelines. Review all applicable templates and current reimbursement tools, analyze denied services and adherence to federal/local guidelines. 4 Valid Drivers License Dental Hygienist Req. #66 Primary Location: Leominster Prepare operatory for patient care by cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining equipment, sterilizing and sharpening equipment. Greet the patient, making them feel at-ease and comfortable. Take and record medical and dental histories and updated personal information in patient s chart. Expose and develop x-ray film. Make intra oral impressions for study casts. Pour study models, trim, make bleaching trays. Dispense bleach and inform proper usage to patient. Perform full mouth periodontal probing or PSR on initial and appropriate subsequent visits. Record findings; note bleeding mobility, furcae involvement and tissue tone in patient s chart. Clean calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth supra and sub-gingivally. Scaling Root Planning and Periodontic maintenance cleanings, determine whether patient needs 3, 4 or 6-month recall. Apply fluorides and other decay preventing agents to arrest dental decay. Polish and floss teeth Remove excess cement from coronal surfaces of teeth. 5 Dental Supervisor Req. #64 Primary Location: Gardner Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, the Dental Office Supervisor serves as the front line coordinator and resource for the office support staff and manages the arrival and departure of patients seeking services at the dental department. The responsibility of the Dental Office Supervisor include, but is not limited to the orientation and training of the office support staff, covering for all areas of the dental office as needed. Psychiatrist Req. #132 Primary Location: Gardner & Fitchburg The Psychiatrist is responsible for clinical psychiatric services provided to patients at Community Health Connections The Psychiatrist will consult with primary care providers and behavioral health providers regarding individual cases, medication management, and care modalities Graduate of USGME Qualified Adult Psychiatry Residency Program Valid License for the practice of Medicine in Massachusetts Valid Massachusetts DEA Certificate Valid Federal DEA Certificate Board Certified or eligible by ABPN in general psychiatry RN/LPN Req. #59 Schedules Nurse visits with patients as appropriate Orders appropriate laboratory & Diagnostic testing according to established guidelines Prepares patients for visits with providers by performing and recording vital signs (including: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, weight, and other procedures as needed) Reviews patients medical records for completeness and updates prior to patients visit Assists in routine physical examinations by preparing the patient, the equipment, and supplies, and assisting the provider as needed Assists in preparing patients for routine diagnostic procedures (i.e. urine specimens) and performing selected screening tests (including: urine dipsticks, urine hcg, and rapid strep throat cultures)
