October present Mental Health and Against Addiction Services Administration (ASSMCA), Ponce and other Municipalities in Puerto Rico Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Provides clinical evaluation, psychotherapy, consultation, and expert forensic services in the area of Autism and other developmental disorders for the Mental Health and Against Addiction Services Administration (ASSMCA, for its name in Spanish) of Puerto Rico as part of a collaborative agreement with the Autonomous Municipality of Ponce. August present Hato Rey and Ponce, Puerto Rico Neurodevelopmental Psychological Services, Private Practice Conducts psychometric, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological evaluations to children and adults. Provides consultation and professional development services in the areas of Special Education, Developmental and Learning Disorders, and Infant/ Early Childhood Mental Health Issues to parents, schools, and other community agencies. Provides individual and group psychological intervention for children, adults, couples, and families. Provides Developmental Individualized Relationship-Based (DIR/ Floortime) therapeutic intervention and training. June December 2007 Ponce School of Medicine Ponce, Puerto Rico Clinical Psychology Program, Research Assistant/ Full Time Primary Research Project: Abuse, felt-stigma and Adherence in Person living with HIV/ AIDS of the Puerto Rico Comprehensive Center for the Study of HIV Disparities (CCHD, PR). Conducted participants interviews, data collection, data coding and analysis, co-facilitation of intervention group sessions, and record keeping. Participated in Young Investigators professional development activities. Assisted the PI in writing and translating technical reports, articles, and other scientific publications as well as in the development of other research proposals. Led focus group meetings with members of at risk communities. Supervised two campuses with a total staff of 60 and a student body of 200. Developed and implemented policies and procedures for all the agency s educational programs. Designed and provided training and technical assistance to all staff. Coordinated and conducted all special education staffings. Was a member of the local interagency community collaboration committee, and the Florida State-wide Interagency Coordinating Counsel for Infants and Toddlers.
