3 Finish in Time UA s approach to facilitating timely degree completion Full time IS 15/ 16 credits per semester (FIVE classes) credits per year (10 classes) UA data indicates A surprising number of students do not enroll in credits/semester BUT they should because Overall STRONG student performance when taking credits per semester

4 Why Take 15 credits? You re MUCH more likely to graduate on time. Research has shown you re more likely to get better grades. At UA, you ll save money, since taking 15 credits is the same cost as taking 12 credits. You re getting 3 credits for FREE! By finishing on time, you have more options!

5 Students: Expectations College is a commitment MAKE IT! Earning 15 credits per semester may not be easy, but it gives you the advantage of graduating on time and getting ahead. Know the courses you need to graduate, and meet with your advisor to map out your plan Make school your priority. Do your best to cut back on work time so you can earn 15 credits per semester and finish faster. If you have to work, consider working on campus while taking 15 credits.

6 Students: Expectations Be ready for freshman English and Math, and take these courses as part of your first year of college. Fill out a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) NOW. Be proactive and ask for help! Take summer classes! Even if you can t take 15 credits a semester, take summer classes to stay on track. Financial aid applies in the summer.
