The firm is based in Chicago, with regional offices in Los Angeles, Madison, Nashville, Portland, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle and Washington, D.C. Campbell & Company is a member of the Giving Institute, the leading association for fundraising consultancies serving nonprofit organizations and institutions. The Position We are interested in adding an Associate Consultant to our team. Primary responsibilities will emphasize candidate development activities, including preparing search-related documents such as position guides, timelines, advertising and postings, and candidate profiles; conducting candidate research; sourcing for candidates; screening interviews; and referencing. Associate Consultants also maintain the executive search database. The Associate Consultant will work collaboratively with the Director and Consultants to execute the search process, and also in efforts and initiatives to market and sell executive search services. The successful candidate will be an individual who brings experience delivering outstanding service and who is proficient managing several projects with critical deadlines. The Executive Search Division is also responsible for Campbell & Company s internal recruiting and the Associate Consultant will be expected to support these efforts and to manage searches for the firm. The Associate Consultant position is located

4 in Campbell & Company s Chicago headquarters. Responsibilities Working with the project lead, execute recruitment strategies that build a robust candidate pool for client engagements. Conduct fresh and original research to identify key sources of potential candidates. Recruit and screen potential candidates. Develop position guides, timelines and advertisements. Write candidate interview summaries and references. Maintain and update the executive search database. Work with all members of the Executive Search team to develop new business leads through proposals, presentations and existing client relationships. Maintain active involvement in professional organizations, including representing the firm at professional events such as conferences and meetings. Manage internal searches for Campbell & Company. Accept responsibility for other projects as assigned by the leadership of Campbell & Company, such as serving on task forces and special projects. Qualifications The Associate Consultant will be an innovative and energetic professional who has prior experience in the nonprofit sector and/or recruiting industry. In addition, the successful candidate will possess the following: Minimum of three years of experience in recruiting. Strong project management skills, preferably gained through business or nonprofit management/consulting experience. Strong networking skills. Understanding of the nonprofit sector, through professional or volunteer experience. Excellent written communication and presentation skills, and comfort presenting to a wide range of audiences. Ability to earn the confidence of a wide range of internal and external constituents. Capacity to see the big picture while managing many details. A high degree of initiative, energy and ability to work independently. A high degree of professionalism, sensitivity and integrity.

5 Exceptional customer service orientation. High comfort with technology, including familiarity with executive search databases and online technologies that create efficiencies in the executive search process. Ability to travel occasionally. A bachelor s degree in a related field.
