And now VoIP is integrated into Industrial Grade Device. This unique Industrial VoIP device addresses to Voice and Analog transmission demands of Industrial and Utility Markets and fits well for Industrial Telephony and Emergency Phone Network Applications and Analog Channel Emulation over Ethernet/IP for old leased-line/pstn modems. Those are still widely used in the Industrial area for accessing remote sites. With unique proprietary Synchronization Protocol based on years of experience in circuit emulation over packet technology, the FlexCON VOIP provides perfect performance for Modem over IP applications due to eliminating certain behavior of channel parameters caused by packet nature of IP-network. The FlexCON VOIP can be used for cost optimization during an upgrade of the network to Ethernet type. For instance, some analog modem transmission for existing points may be kept, while the core network can be upgraded to Ethernet. This is more or less the same situation behind analog channels as a story with serial data over packet network transmission. That is why has designed this 2-in-1 unit, which combines Voice and Serial transmission capabilities in the single Industrial unit. Each FlexCON VOIP device provides up to 4 voice channels, in 2-by-2 combination, by pre-installing of daughter cards into 2 slots. Each card supports either 2x FXO, or 2x FXS or 2x Analog voice frequency ( Hz) channels (2/4 wire) with Type 5 E&M. The FlexCON VOIP also supports Voice Conferencing for each channel, Address book and Tone or Pulse dialing as well. Through the smart and flexible VoIP configuration engine the FlexCON VOIP units suits well not only Classic VoIP networks with SIP-server applications, but also offers a lot of Applications without SIP-server, such as: FXO-FXS (FXS Port Extender) Hot-line FXS-FXS P-t-P, P-t-MP and Onmi Analog Channel Emulation Distributed PBX Dispatcher network (with Conferencing) Distributed access to PSTN/PBX And they also may cover perfectly simple Dispatcher applications, Hot-line Phone applications, Radio-, Remote Paging and Public Announcement applications. The serial sub-system of the device has 2 on-board RS232/422/485 Serial Interfaces (fully SW configurable) with 16kV protection. Each interface supports bps transmission rates over TCP or UDP in Point-To-Point, Point-To- MultiPoint (up to 64 points), Broadcast and Com-Server Applications. Due to operating compatibility in Ethernet, Serial and Management of the FlexCON VOIP, MiniFlex and Orion Product Lines, now offers the great set of Integrated System Solutions for Industrial and Utility Networks.
