1 Getting Started... Login to your Account Mark the site as a favorite for quick reference for later. Set your Preferences Once logged in, click Preferences on the left. Signature In the signature block we recommend that you use only text, as images will appear as broken links Expiration: This is the time frame your message will be retained See your compliance officer for your legal requirements *If you or your organization is seubject to HIPAA or SEC for retention requirements, please be sure to contact your compliance officer or management team to determine your retention period* Set your Notifications up These can remind both the sender and the recipient when a secure has not been opened to insure reciept of your message Click Save Once you saved your setting, these will be your default settings anytime you use NeoCertified. Now that you have logged in, and set you preferences, you are ready to intstall the NeoCertified Outlook Client Addin and Send and receive secure messages

2 Outlook users can download the NeoCertified Client Addin to Send and receive messages Close Outlook and Login Click "Outlook Client" in the lefthand menu, under the compose button. Click Download NCM Outlook Client This will be located in the rectangle, about the red text on the page. Select "Run" or "Save" to begin the installation process. This will start the download of the NCM Outlook Client The Setup Wizard will open Follow instructions provided Verify Installation was Successful To verify, locate the receive NeoCertified button in the Outlook Home Ribbon Locate the Send NeoCertified button in the New Message Ribbon If you have issues during the installation, please contact our support team at (877) or

3 Sending Encrypted s in Outlook with NeoCertified Select New Compose an as you would any other Once you have completed composing your message and attached any files (You can send up to 20mb files through Outlook) Select "Send NeoCertified" Depending on the size of you message, this may take a moment Once your message has been sent, you will receive the following notification You have successfully sent a secure message using your NeoCertified Outlook Client Addin

4 Recieving Encrypted s in Outlook When you receive a new secure notification, that you will see in you inbox Select receive NeoCertified This will download the message directly into Outlook Locate the Recieved NeoCertified Message Your message will be download into your Outlook Indox You have successfully recieved a secure message using your NeoCertified Outlook Client Addin

5 Send and receive secure through the Internet From your NeoCertified Internet Account, you may send message with upto 50MB of attachments, depending on your network. For security reasons, idle use *including typing*, will result in a system log off TIP: Your message will be saved to "Drafts" The subject line, to, and from lines of your are the only portion that will not be encrypted Expiration is when your message will be deleted, from the time you send it Please note: Once a message is deleted, it cannot be retrieved. After Logging into the system Select "Compose Mail" located on the left side menu Compose a message as you would any Be sure to include all reciepients that you would like to receive this message Attaching a File Select "Choose File" Browse your files to find the correct item and select Select "Attach File" This will start to upload the file to the message Do not close the progress window Once your attachment has been uploaded, you will recieve a conformation at the top of your screen Select Send! Your sent message will be deliveried securely to your intended recipients You have successfully sent a secure message using NeoCertified
