1 Have you considered aviation maintenance as a career choice? If you haven't, you are missing out on an exciting, challenging, fulfilling, and lucrative lifetime opportunity. Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT's) are at the top of the ladder when it comes to technical know-how, problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude. They have a desire to be a valued professional for one of the thousands of fine companies that are seeking their employment. Men and women who perform maintenance on today's fleet of modern aircraft are not just mechanics anymore, they are technicians that are highly trained and willing to accept the high degree of responsibility that comes with this challenging career. AMT's don't just perform maintenance on one part of an aircraft such as the hydraulic system, radios or engines. They work on all aspects of the aircraft. Today s aircraft include helicopters, gliders of all sizes and shapes, even blimps and balloons. Most employers offer competitive wages and excellent benefits including free transportation to many parts of the world for their technicians and their families. AMT's are in high demand!
