You can also offer a range of products that can help your clients reduce their overall energy consumption and reduce their carbon footprint. We have a range of commission structures to suit how involved you want to get in the process. We also offer help, advice and system support to help you sell.

3 The Utilitywise Partner Channel was set up to allow a wide range of businesses and sub-brokers a way to offer Utilitywise products to their clients. UTILITYWISE PLC TOTAL BUSINESS ENERGY MANAGEMENT Utilitywise helps businesses get the most value out of their energy contracts, reduce their energy consumption and lower their carbon footprint. Our clients range in size from high street shops to multinationals with thousands of sites and are found across the whole of the UK. In total, we manage thousands of energy meters with an overall energy spend in the hundreds of millions per annum. ACCESS TO PRICES FROM EVERY MAJOR GAS AND ELECTRICITY SUPPLIER IN THE UK AND GROUND- BREAKING ENERGY MONITORING PRODUCTS

4 UTILITYWISE PARTNER CHANNEL The Utilitywise Partner Channel was set up to allow a wide range of businesses and sub-brokers a way to offer Utilitywise products to their clients. Essentially you introduce Utilitywise to your clients then receive a regular income based on the sales achieved. You can pick what Utilitywise products you offer to your clients and you can choose how involved you get in the sales process we will give you advice on which partner level is the right one for your situation. An energy sale can be very technical and involve long lead times; to help you track the sales process all our Partners use Tesla, our speciallydesigned customer relationship management (CRM) software. This allows every Partner visibility of their sales pipeline as well as allowing those that are taking a more active part in the sale to manage and control the sales process. Help and support We will give you support and help in marketing to your clients and answering their questions about energy contracts and ways to save energy. We do everything we can to make sure that you obtain additional regular income from your clients and that they benefit from better energy prices, energy savings and carbon reduction. What businesses can become Partners? There are a wide range of business types that have become Utilitywise Partners ranging in size from one-man consultancies to large business associations. These include: Professional service firms offering a wide range of business advice or consultancy services can see the benefit of being able to offer our products to their clients. Franchisors use us to offer an additional service to their franchisees. Telemarketing and other sales organisations have become Partners to allow them to quickly introduce a new technically demanding product into their sales calls. A range of business clubs, associations, societies and trade bodies have become Partners because they see the benefit of offering energy products to their membership. Business-to-business companies have become Partners to enable them to sell additional products alongside their core offering. Not enough time or expertise to make the sale Partners often worry that they will not have the time or the technical expertise to make full use of Utilitywise. To allow you to get the most value out of our products we offer a range of relationship levels to match your time constraints, for example: at the Lead Generator level all you have to do is upload your data into our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Better service Utilitywise invests time and effort in making sure that you and your clients are delighted with the products and the service. One of our key drivers is making sure that the sale you have worked so hard for actually goes live. There are a number of administrative hurdles and other obstacles that can prevent a sale being processed properly by the energy supplier. We have a department dedicated to tracking the sale once it is with the energy supplier and making sure that any problems are resolved; this has given us a high go-live rate. A high go-live rate means that you are more likely to see your sales go to completion and generate revenue. The Utilitywise advantage Energy is one of the major costs for almost all businesses, using our products enables you to offer a genuine cost-saving to your clients, not only in the short term but also to bring year-on-year benefits by helping them reduce their energy usage. These additional energy services can aid your member recruitment and increase your member loyalty. And at the same time generate a source of revenue for you. Staff support Each Partner is allocated two members of staff to help them sell Utilitywise products. A Business Development Manager (BDM) will give you training on Tesla (our CRM system), the sales process, documentation and commissions. The BDM is your main point of contact with Utilitywise. Once your account is up and running you will also be allocated an Account Manager (AM) they work alongside you to provide your clients with a great energy services offering including looking at how we can reduce their energy consumption and lower their carbon footprint. WE WILL GIVE YOU SUPPORT AND HELP IN MARKETING TO YOUR CLIENTS AND ANSWERING THEIR QUESTIONS

5 1. PICK THE RELATIONSHIP LEVEL There are a range of relationship levels to match your needs and the needs of your clients. We will advise which type is most suitable for your knowledge of the energy services sector; our aim is to make it easier for you to generate a revenue from our products. THE UTILITYWISE PARTNER CHANNEL Lead generator Lead generators allow us to access their customer base. We manage the process from beginning-to-end from making the initial contact to implementing all the products. A Lead Generator can offer the full product set to their clients, then follow the process through the Tesla platform. The Lead Generator receives a percentage of the sale value. Referrer This relationship type has already introduced the idea of Utilitywise to their clients. The Referrer adds their client details with a Letter of Authority (LOA) and utility bill to Tesla. We then manage the sales process from beginning to end. A Referrer can pick which Utilitywise products are offered to their clients. The Referrer receives a percentage of the sale value. Partner The Partner adds contact details, letter of authority (LOA) and utility bill to Tesla. We then profile the meter and (when quotable) provide the Partner with a price. We manage the administration from beginningto-end. A Partner can pick which Utilitywise products are offered to their clients. The Partner receives a percentage of the sale value. Sub-Broker Sub-Brokers are businesses that are very experienced in selling an energy price. We offer Sub-Brokers access to our prices from a wide range of energy suppliers. The Sub-Broker has access to our Tesla CRM platform to manage their sales pipeline including objections. The Sub-Broker gets a percentage of the sale value. PICK THE PRODUCTS YOU WANT TO OFFER YOUR CLIENTS The Utilitywise product set is a complete energy management solution for your client s energy needs taking them from the price they pay for their energy, analysing their energy usage, identifying energy saving opportunities and then implementing the energy saving projects that are going to reduce their energy use year on year. You can offer your clients as few or as many of the Utilitywise products as you want; we can give you guidance on the most suitable product set to offer based on the experiences of our current partners. The Utilitywise products include: Account Care Our Account Care service makes sure that your clients are getting the best value out of their energy supplier and what they are being charged is right for their business. This involves a detailed look at their energy bills, meter types, standing charge, energy allowance, etc. This is the first step in making sure that they have the correct meter type and that what they are being billed is right for their business. Carbon Zero for Energy You can make your client s business energy carbon neutral by offsetting their business gas and electricity usage through Utilitywise. The price for these credits is bundled into the unit price for their energy; in effect your clients will be offsetting as they go rather than in one bill at the start or end of a year. Energy Health Check As part of the Utilitywise service your clients will be issued with an Energy Health Check. This compares their building s energy consumption against the national average for their industry type. The Energy Health Check is the first step in reducing their energy costs and lowering their carbon footprint. Energy Audit The Utilitywise Energy Audit is a full review of your client s site conducted by teams of qualified and accredited energy surveyors. The final report shows current electricity, gas and water consumption, carbon dioxide emissions and annual energy spend. It highlights physical and behavioural changes that would reduce utility consumption. The savings from each of the recommended conservation measures is shown with its associated payback period. Smart Meters and Utility Insight Utilitywise can arrange the fitting of smart meters (also known as AMR meters). Smart meters put an end to estimated bills and someone coming to read the meter. A smart meter produces a stream of data about the energy use at the site it serves. Utilitywise smart meters come with Utility Insight, a smart meter reporting platform. This reporting system gives your clients access to critical information on their utility usage. If your clients already have smart meters at their site Utilitywise can arrange for the data to be routed into Utility Insight allowing them to gain much more information about their utility use. Edd:e circuit level energy monitoring Edd:e is Utilitywise s electrical energy monitoring system, it measures each circuit on the distribution board it is wired to. This means that your client can see detailed energy use for every circuit from every distribution board in their business, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. The information Edd:e provides allows your client to make informed decisions about the actions to take to reduce energy usage, lower their energy bills, reduce their carbon footprint and manage the total energy load in their business. The Energy Health Check, Energy Audit and the data from Edd:e will highlight a number of behavioural factors and equipment changes that will provide an energy saving. Utilitywise has teams of experts (N.I.C.E.I.C. approved and CRB checked) that can advise, devise and undertake any re-fit projects needed to realise energy savings.

7 3. PICK YOUR BRANDING LEVEL We can customise the marketing and the approach we take to your clients in a variety of ways. We will try to accommodate anything that you require, the main branding levels used are: CAPTURES AND ANALYSES DETAILED ENERGY CONSUMPTION DATA FOCUS ON QUANTIFIABLE ENERGY SAVING PRIORITIES GENERATE ENERGY SAVINGS INITIATIVES AND REDUCE YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT TOTAL ENERGY USE VISIBILITY DOWN TO THE INDIVIDUAL CIRCUIT LEVEL, IN REAL TIME Utilitywise brand Use the existing Utilitywise marketing material to promote our products to your clients. This is quick to implement and gives you access to a very wide range of marketing material. You get easier access to new products and comprehensive back-up to the existing ones. Dual brand We provide custom-built marketing material that uses your brand as well as ours. White label This is a blank-label offering, where only your brand is used and the marketing material either matches your brand guidelines or uses Utilitywise guidelines but not our name. For example this would involve dedicated telephone lines which are answered using your brand name, brand specific addresses, presentation kits and other marketing material in your brand identity. As far as your clients know Utilitywise does not exist. Marketing campaigns available We have a wide variety of marketing material to help you promote these new services to your clients and members. We can also customise and create new material to help you deliver the right message to your clients: Creating customised advertising campaigns. Writing and designing marketing material for and direct mail use. Producing bespoke presentations for conferences. Writing material for websites, blogs and Twitter feeds. Edd:e gathers data and creates reports allowing customers to make informed decisions as to how they can optimise their energy consumption thereby reducing energy costs. Edd:e identifies where, when and how energy is being used, and more importantly wasted. Web based report allow customers to see areas of energy consumption by time, type and location. EDD:E WILL ON AVERAGE SHOW A WAY TO REDUCE YOUR ENERGY BY 27% AND IT HAS SHOWN UP TO A 48.3% REDUCTION.

8 TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR PARTNERS Energy account sales and energy services can be technically complicated and involve a number of required steps; for example: profiling a utility meter involves understanding the type of meter, obtaining permission from the energy supplier to query the account, understanding the charges shown on the bill and what can be done with them. To help you understand the process we offer a range of training appropriate to your relationship type. The training can include courses on the key aspects of the energy sale and the technical terms used, as well as training on our Tesla CRM system. Training can be delivered either at your site or in one of our training rooms at our head office. After the training you have on-going support from a member of our team. This means that you are only one phone call or away from someone who can give you more advice and help. Tesla customer relationship management system Taking your clients from initial contact to final sale can be confusing. To help you track your sales leads and control the sales process all Partner Channel members use our Tesla CRM system. This was written by Utilitywise so is specifically designed to manage energy account and services sales. Once we have created a secure password protected account in Tesla you are able to upload prospect data, track those leads, make sure that all opportunities to quote for business are taken-up, track who has accepted a quote, monitor commission payments, in fact do everything needed to take a business from initial contact to final sale.
