8 Characteristics of our Programs Flexible Programs Our most popular program, the Bachelor of Information Technology is built around the notion of Major It is very easy to study two Majors or to change Major It is also possible to easily transfer from one Degree to another All our Degrees include a variety of elective Computing and non Computing units

9 Characteristics of our Programs Job Ready Graduates We seek the input of an Industry Advisory Board We regularly discuss our programs with a group of representatives from Microsoft, Google, Ernst & Young, Banks, Games companies, etc All our students must complete a PACE unit (Professional and Community Engagement) to graduate. 25 Master of Information Technology Coursework Master Postgraduate Offering Entry: In Session 1 (end of Feb) or in Session 2 (end of July) Credit points required: 64cp corresponding to 16 units Typical full time load: Four subjects per Session over two years Must complete one of the following Specialisations: - Management - Internetworking and Cyber Security

26 Australian level 7 Bachelor s qualification or equivalent in any discipline; AND At least two units in core Computing subjects at 1st year University level relevant to the chosen Master s specialisation; AND GPA of 2.75 (out of 4.00); OR Postgraduate Offering Admission Requirements Work experience of at least 3 years (full time) duration in a relevant IT area.

27 Postgraduate Offering Exemptions and Recognition for Prior Learning Students with an IT qualification and/or work experience can receive from up to 32cp worth of exemptions This represents up to 12 months off Students with a Bachelor in IT (or related area) typically receives 16cp of Exemption, i.e. can complete their program in 18 months

28 Postgraduate Offering Specialisation in Management Students develop expertise in: - Project Management - Security Management - Enterprise Management - Strategic Project Management - Enterprise Application Integration - Information Systems Project and Risk Management
