10 Doctoral Partnerships PGCPS is partnering with Howard University & The University of Maryland at College Park to build the leadership capacities of school leaders, more specifically, executive level personnel and school principals. 10
11 Measuring the Effectiveness of our Partnerships: Quality Measures Process The Quality Measures Process is an evidence-based review of the primary programs that prepare candidates to serve in leadership positions in our schools. Designed to support principal preparation programs in their continuous improvement efforts by providing research-based tools and protocols that help facilitate an evidence-based review of program quality, this process is being used to support our work with several universities. 11
12 Strengthening Workforce Development Programs Career Academies Four-year high school programs of study that prepare students to be both college and career ready. Each Academy has a variety of majors from which students can choose in order to meet their interests and talents. Opportunities for students to graduate from high school include: licensed cosmetologist air traffic controller educational paraprofessional pharmacy technician 12
