General s: Also check out: and for scholarship searches. SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATIONS APPLICATION DEADLINE AMOUNT IPFW/Parkview Program Questa Foundation for Education 1. Must have completed first clinical nursing course 2. Enrolled full-time in undergraduate nursing program, 3. Minimum GPA of 3.0 (GPA calculated on courses that apply to the degree), 4. Must be able to attend the award celebration. (Preference will be given to Parkview Health employees) Virgil J. and Mildred C. Roy Nursing s Eligible applicants include those nursing students who are enrolled in an Allen County school of nursing and are pursuing an RN degree. This is a competitive scholarship that includes a formal application process. Selection of scholarship recipients is based upon academic standing, financial need and requires the recommendation of the nursing department as well as character references. July 1 st : Fall semester, Oct. 1 st : Spring semester. If equally-qualified students apply, financial need will be considered. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled as a Nursing major with the expectation of completing the Baccalaureate Nursing program. Student must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours during the period the student is awarded the funds. Student must be enrolled in or have completed a class in Community Health or Public Health Nursing. Contact: Human Resources, LOANS ELIGIBILITY DEADLINE AMOUNT Perkins Loans Perkins Loans are federal need-based loans available to graduate and undergraduate students and have a 5 percent interest rate. Inquire at IPFW Financial Aid office, Stafford Loans Federal PLUS Loans Stafford Loans are made to you by a bank, credit union, or savings and loan association. Both federally subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford Loans are available to students. The amount borrowed under the subsidized and unsubsidized components combined may not exceed established loan limits. All students applying for Stafford Loans must file the FAFSA. Inquire at IPFW Financial Aid office, Federal PLUS Loans are offered by banks, or other lending institutions regardless of family income. Plus loans are made to the parents of dependent students. A variable interest rate is charged and is determined annually. All parents applying for PLUS Loans must file the FAFSA.
