Albert, PhD, CCNS, CHFN, CCRN, NE- BC, FAHA, FCCM Nurse Led Research to Improve Quality and Safety
2 Purpose To provide a forum for clinical researchers to share and discuss the impact of research on clinical practice and patient outcomes. Target audience This conference has been developed for staff nurses, advanced practice nurses, educators, managers, administrators, and students involved or interested in enhancing clinical practice or patient outcomes through research. Keynote speaker Dr. Albert is Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Office of Research and Innovation, in the Nursing Institute, Cleveland Clinic Health System. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University and University of Akron Colleges of Nursing and a Full Professor at Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. Dr. Albert s program of research is in heart failure. She mentors and coaches nurses in all phases of research, including development, grant funding, conduction, dissemination and translation of findings. Dr. Albert has published over 160 peer-reviewed articles in nursing and medical journals, written book chapters and presented nationally and internationally. Continuing education This activity has been submitted to WNA CEAP for approval to award contact hours. Wisconsin Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center s Commission on Accreditation.
