4 PROJECT DESCRIPTION PSCP/IAC Limited Renovation This project is a Limited Renovation project in accordance with the PSCP/IAC guidelines The scope of work has therefore been categorized into the Limited Renovation Categories Categories Structural Systems Mechanical Systems Electrical Systems Fire Safety Conveying Systems Educational Enhancements Original Building Constructed in 1957 The facility is structurally sound (with limited exceptions) This project includes upgrades to make this school serviceable for another 30 to 50 years 3

6 PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project is a Limited Renovation project in accordance with the PSCP/IAC guidelines The scope of work has therefore been categorized into the Limited Renovation Categories Structural Systems Site Related Replacement of damaged site paving and curbing Cleanout and repair storm water management systems Replacement of a failing retaining wall adjacent to the auditorium Building Exterior (Skin) Replacement of window curtain wall system and windows throughout the entire facility Replacement of all exterior doors Repointing of deteriorated areas of exterior brick Building Structural Demolish and rebuild auditorium dressing rooms due to structural failure Repair several bus loop canopy columns that are damaged Repair interior masonry walls 5

Replacement of building exhaust system. Replacement of above grade plumbing piping, including sanitary sewer, storm water, natural gas, and domestic hot/cold water systems. Replacement of all plumbing fixtures located throughout the original building due to age. Electrical Systems Fire Safety Replacement of switchboard Replacement of panelboards and branch circuits Replacement of all interior lights Replacement of all exterior building lights Replacement of light controls Install sprinkler system throughout the entire building. Replacement of all doors and hardware All stairwell doors to be placed on magnetic hold opens 11

16 PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project is a Limited Renovation project in accordance with the PSCP/IAC guidelines The scope of work has therefore been categorized into the Limited Renovation Categories Conveying Systems Elevator addition in the original building Miscellaneous Systems and ADA Provide ADA compliant handicap accessibility to recreational fields across Putty Hill Avenue Reconfiguration of at least one door alcove into each classroom to be ADA compliant. Renovation of gang restrooms to be in compliance with ADA guidelines Renovation of one staff restroom on each floor to be in compliance with ADA guidelines Limited renovation of both the boys and girls locker rooms to provide a minimum of one ADA compliant shower area, locker and bench area, toilet stall and sink. Limited renovation of team rooms to provide a minimum of one ADA compliant shower area, locker and bench area, toilet stall and sink. Provide ADA compliant room signs Install ADA compliant lift to music suite Replacement of all corridor lockers 15
