10 TOURISM In 2014 Puebla achieved to enter into the group of Colonial Treasures as eighth State. The states of this category are Aguascalientes, Durango, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí y Zacatecas. 22 Ex Hacienda de Chautla Built in 1777, although its best time was in 19th century. Its history reflects the economic importance and the magnificence that 19th century buildings had during that time. E. Gillow wanted to build a small Versailles, surrounded by gardens, an artificial lake and a castle. The Misión Grand Ex Hacienda de Chautla Hotel has now 94 rooms.

23 The Garden of Isla del Kiosko, is a little island in one of the small lakes. It is accesible through a bridge that conects the various paths of the Hacienda, ideal for a wedding. It has on of the best landscapes the place can offer and it has got a capacity for up tp 150 persons. One of the most important scenes the place has to offer is the garden of the castle, just posterior of the castle. This garden can accomodate up to 500 peole for an event, it offers natural landscape and is located in the middle of the lakes.

25 Auditorio Metropolitano The Auditorio Metropolitano Puebla is the most important stage in the State. All kind of events that need a prestigious frame are presented here: expositions, movie premieres, congresses, government reports, book presentations, international festivals, corporate events, theater plays, big productions and concerts po the world s most famous artists. Since 2005 the building displayed on its facade the world s biggest art work of talavera, created by talented Pedro Ramírez Vázquez. At the end of 2014 various remodellings were realized at the exterior and interior of the auditorium.

26 Its surface amounts to107,639 ft² and exhibits a water mirror. The maximum capacity of the auditorium is 5,495 persons, divided into three principal areas.

32 Army and Air Force Museum: Opened in December 2014, it is an unique space that shows the history and development of the Mexican Army. It has a grand central patio, ideal for receiving social events. Distances: 2 km from Convention Centre (10 min) and 5 km from Exhibitor Centre (15 min).

33 Auditorio de la Reforma Opened in 1962 to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of 5th may; built by Abraham Zabludovsky, one of the most representative architects in the second half of the XX century. It has a capacity of 815 people beside the dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms and a dome built for acustic concerts. 34 Ex Fábrica La Constancia: It was the first mechanical textile factory, which was part of the origin of the Textile Industry in Latin America, located 5 km away from the city. It is currently the national headquarters for the Esperanza Azteca.Sinfonic Orchestra Capacity: 400 people banquet setting in each of its two sections.
