YOUR LIFE AT INFOSYS Career Opportunities in Client Services and Sales
KNOW US BETTER Shaping the future You may have heard a few things about us, and you may want to know more. In fact, there is a lot to discover about Infosys, and a lot to say. But we ll keep it simple. We solve difficult problems for some of the world s largest companies. How? By understanding the changing dynamics of the real-world environments in which these companies operate. And then thinking of innovative solutions that help them seize new windows of opportunity. Our work changes the way the world works and lives. A few examples: taking banking to the most remote parts of the world, building next-generation aircrafts, and saving lives with an emergency alert system. Our people Infoscions in sales and client services are at the heart of change for such projects. But it all starts with building meaningful relationships with business leaders. Relationships that establish a vision before a solution setting the stage for helping enterprises renew themselves.
Our story Today, we are a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing solutions with over US$ 8.7 billion in annual revenues. Around 176,000 of us help clients in more than 50 countries outperform the competition. And we do this from more than 185 offices and development centers in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa as well as Asia Pacific. But we have humble origins: in 1981, seven engineers started the company with just US$250. Along the way, we invented and reinvented ourselves from pioneering the global delivery model, to tightly linking business consulting with enterprise solutions, to launching new products and platforms. Our impact has been acknowledged in many ways. Fortune called our founder, N. R. Narayana Murthy, one of the 12 Greatest Entrepreneurs of Our Time. We bring this forward looking attitude and spirit of innovation to our clients as well. That s why, when Infoscions in our Global Markets team spot an opportunity for a breakthrough solution, they don t stop there. They simply ask, What s ahead?

It s a day to spot new opportunities small or big and create real, lasting impact.

SOLVE COMPLEX PROBLEMS Lead the change We understand that to give your best to a project, you need to believe it makes a difference: to your client s business, to the world, and to you personally. Many Infosys projects are game-changers, created and delivered with the imagination and industry acumen of people like you. It starts with getting to the bottom of client issues: studying the way they work, recognizing the realities of the industries they operate in, thinking within the grid and out of the box at the same time. Those insights empower you to collaborate with your colleagues, crafting solutions that disrupt, accelerate, and bring competitive advantage. But you won t just bring ideas that look great on paper; you ll help make these ideas work in the real world, seeing innovation through to its outcomes.
Money goes mobile Infosys Products 60% of India is unbanked and relies on cash transactions. With mobile wallets, we ve made it possible to bank the unbanked. A leading telecom provider wanted technology that could power a mobile wallet service for cashless payments in India. Our team saw the opportunity for a scalable, cloud-based m-commerce platform. Today, this platform supports millions of customers across 800 locations and powers 3,500 transactions every second transferring money when and where it s most needed. Building next-gen aircrafts Infosys Engineering 50% of the cost of flying is from engine fuel burn. We ve ensured the fuel savings for each plane is the eco-equivalent of 7,000 cars off our roads all year! One of the world s most famous aircraft manufacturers wanted to design lightweight wings and fuselage to make their commercial planes more fuel-efficient. Our team sensed the possibility to create a prototype fuselage with advanced composite materials. The result: a fuselage that has 80% lesser parts than a typical metallic fuselage, and our client s airplanes burning 25% less fuel today. Saving lives with technology Infosys Services There are 50,000 bushfires in Australia every year, impacting the lives of thousands of people. These people are now safer. A leading telecom company needed to build a national emergency warning system for use across Australia. Our team delivered a life-altering concept literally. Before the next bushfire season a few weeks away, they had designed a solution. As a result, over 7.7 million alerts have been sent, saving lives and homes from natural and community disasters throughout Australia.
