1 MBA Profile Class of 2013/14

2 MBA Profile Class of 2013/14 Our MBA class is a diverse mix of extraordinary individuals from dozens of countries and every possible background. Stephan Chambers, MBA Director The Saïd Business School is one of Europe s youngest and most entrepreneurial business schools. An integral part of the University of Oxford, the School embodies the academic rigour and forward thinking that has made Oxford a world leader in education. The School is dedicated to developing a new generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs and conducting research not only into the nature of business, but the connections between business and the wider world. Corporate presentations This remains one of the most popular ways of meeting students. They generally take place in the evening in one of the School s lecture theatres, and typically we suggest allowing one hour for presentation and Q&A, followed by minutes of general networking. Targeted events These are much smaller events, aimed at a particular group of students who match a profile sought by the employer. These events can be lunches, dinners, seminars, discussions etc. Employers can obtain access to our student CV database and run detailed searches to focus on the students who meet their criteria. Careers staff can also help employers identify suitable candidates. Student visits to corporate headquarters Some employers may prefer to invite a group of students to their offices. These events have proved popular with students, as they are able to tour the corporate headquarters, learn about the different parts of the business and experience the company s work culture. Advertise a vacancy Employers can use our CareerConnect online system to post and manage an unlimited number of jobs, as well as set parameters for the job openings. The system can manage the applications, and send reminders to employers when a student applies for a job, or when the posting is about to expire. You can register on CareerConnect through the following link: https:// employer/home.aspx For further details, please contact the Careers Centre on or
