7 Page 7 IX. BONDS X. VARIOUS CLAIMS AND ADDENDUM XI. BRIEFING A. Proposed Annexation of Unincorporated Areas in Tarrant County The Commissioners Court will discuss issues relating to the proposed annexation of land located within the unincorporated areas of Tarrant County. These discussions will include the impact on law enforcement, public health, fire protection, ambulance service, road maintenance and construction, and other services provided by the County in these affected areas. B. Tarrant County Justice Center Security The Commissioners Court will continue to discuss issues concerning security in the Tarrant County Justice Center and other County facilities. These discussions will include a continuing analysis of current security and ways to improve security. C. Bond Project Update Family Law Center The Commissioners Court will be updated on the construction of the Family Law Center. The 1998 Bond projects included the Family Law Center and the Public Health facility, as well as other construction projects. D. Employee Health Benefits Analysis The Commissioners Court will be briefed concerning issues involving employee health benefits. These issues will deal with a proposed need to evaluate the current benefits program to determine what changes, if any, should be made in the PY 2005 plan. Additionally, the Court will discuss the need, if any, to evaluate other plans that might be more appropriate for Tarrant County. At the conclusion of the briefing, the Court will be asked to provide direction to staff on this issue. XII. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND COMMENTS XIII. PUBLIC COMMENTS
