There was a calming effect. - Insurance Brkers Assciatin f Ontari Member One f the mst utilized services prvided by ENGAGE HR fr ur Assciatin clients is the ENGAGE Advantage Helpdesk. Yur Assciatin wuld be assigned a dedicated client line that prvides yur Members with immediate access t ur qualified HR Prfessinals fr infrmatin, assistance and cunsel with respect t a wide range f HR and peple-management issues and situatins. Typically, an Assciatin supprts its Members by funding 1-hur f HR cnsulting each mnth via the Helpdesk. Any additinal time is billed directly t the Member. ENGAGE HR Advantage Helpdesk services are billed at Preferred Member Rates (hurly), which equates t 10% ff ur standard rates: Preferred Member Rates Managing Directr $ HR Manager / Cnsultant $ HR Assciate / Prject Crdinatr $ Typical calls t the ENGAGE HR Advantage Helpdesk include questins and inquires relating t: Cmpliance with regulatry standards (Emplyment Standards, Health & Safety, Human Rights, Canada Revenue) Emplyee perfrmance issues and apprpriate disciplinary actin Best Emplyer practices Fair cmpensatin practices Advice regarding resigning emplyees Cunsel fr handling emplyee cmplaints r allegatin f discriminatin, sexual harassment r similar human rights issues Advice fr implementing HR plicies, prgrams and practices The ENGAGE HR Advantage Helpdesk has prven t be an effective and valuable service fr Assciatin members. 8 Values Fit Surveys (VFS) The VFS prcess is designed t help yur Members assess their rganizatinal culture frm a values perspective and leverage their culture t imprve business peratins by: helping them t hire the right peple fr their rganizatin. Peple that fit with the culture will supprt the rganizatin s values and keep the cmpany mving in the right directin. develping and maintaining a cnsistent rganizatinal culture that in turn can help t create and sustain a cmpetitive advantage. The prcess is made up f three nline surveys: Organizatinal Culture Survey (OCS): prvides a picture f an rganizatin s culture and a benchmark f the values that 1) ptential candidates shuld pssess and 2) current emplyees shuld be supprting and practicing. Candidate Fit Survey (CFS): assesses hw well ptential candidates will fit with the rganizatin s culture. Outsurcing prgrams include nging management f all HR functins and activities as well as a regular r as-needed n-site presence, where gegraphically feasible.
