If not, we should move a proposal for construction of new independent drug deaddiction centres at Gurdapur, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Ropar, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Barnala, Mansa, Muktsar, Abohar. Prepare a separate District-wise list. 10 SOSVA We should contact SOSVA for running the De-addiction centres at Ferozepur, Tarn Taran, Jalandhar and Faridkot through Red Cross. Medical College A state level drug de-addiction centre is under construction in the Medical College, Amritsar. It is likely to be completed by Gurdaspur 15 beded in a private building of Indian Red Cross Society. Indian Red Cross society is getting grant in aid from GOI. The Civil Surgeon should have a separate ward constructed in the Civil Hospital complex. The renovation of the hospital building is under implementation and this issue can be referred to MD-PHSC. 4 5 Pathankot (No ) Civil Hospital, Pathankot Some beds were ear marked but due to absence of, it is almost nonfunctional. (1) to be posted. (2) The drug de-addiction centre to be made functional. 6 Tarn Taran 10 beded drug de-addiction centre was constructed by the health department from GOI grant and MP LAD (Local Area Civil Hospital, Tarn Taran Development) funds. If 5 more beds could be added then this centre can become eligible for GOI (1) We should look for a NGO who can run this centre and apply for GOI (2) 5 more beds need to be put up. PHSC may be asked to give estimates. Funds can be provided in under BADP programme or from State Government. District Red Cross society or any other NGO may be asked to run this centre so that we could avail GOI assistance being given to NGOs. 11 Hoshiarpur 12 beded ward within Civil Hospital It is run by the health department authorities. (1) We should construct a separate block for drug deaddiction. 6 13 Moga 6 bed available within a ward of Civil Hospital. Indian Red Cross Society is running a 15 bed drug de-addiction centre in the old DC Office. Indian Red Cross Society is running a 15 bed drug de-addiction centre and they are getting GOI Running satisfactorily. However, a proper drug deaddiction centre can be constructed within the Civil Hospital complex. Indian Red Cross is running a 15 bed drug de-addiction centre and they are getting GOI There is no space within the Civil Hospital either in the wards or within the complex for construction of a new building. MD-PHSC may be asked to put up estimate and we can arrange funds from the state budget. Medical College, Patiala Near Khalsa College by Indian Red Cross Society 10 bed drug de-addiction centre in Guru Nanak Sarai is being run by Red Cross in Guru Nanak Sarai outside the Civil Hospital. They are getting GOI Satisfactory. 30 beded drug de-addiction centre is being run by Red Cross Society and they are getting GOI We can construct a separate 10 beded deaddiction centre in the Civil Hospital under Construction of a separate block.
