3 Southwest Texas Junior College Application for Graduation Important: This application must have all questions answered and all blanks completed. PLEASE PRINT CLEARLY. If you have questions, please consult with a counselor. In order to receive your degree and/or certificate, you must be sure you have fulfilled the following minimum requirements in addition to the requirements for each respective program. *All students are required to take New Student Orientation (ORIE 1); however, the course will not count toward degree requirements. *Formal application for graduation should be made according to the following schedule: May Graduation uar Application deadline is February 1. December Graduation ~ Application deadline is October 1. *Students who are eligible to attend the May ceremony each year are those who have completed their degree requirements in December of the previous year or will complete their degree requirements in May or August of the current year.
