1 BROWNFIELD premises of ArcelorMittal Frýdek-Místek a.s. Frýdek-Místek is in northeast part of the Czech Republic not far from the state border with Slovakia and Poland. Position of Frýdek-Místek is on strategical crossway of highways leading to: Ostrava cca 16 km, to Slovakia 35 km (Bílá) and 51 km (Mosty u Jablunkova), 27 km to Poland (Český Těšín). International airport Ostrava-Mošnov is about 20 km.

Production area of ArcelorMittal Frýdek-Místek a.s. is linked with Frýdek-Místek since 1833 when the Karlova metallurgical works were founded. After second world war the company was renamed to Válcovny plechu (rolling mill) and under this name it was known until 2008 when the name was changed to ArcelorMittal Frýdek-Místek a.s.

All offered buildings are related to resctructualizatin, modernization, changes of production programme and slenderizing of company when the hot roll production of fine and gross sheets of wide quality assortment was gradually finished.
