1 Introducing India s First Network Security Championship To, The HOD Date: 09/01/2014 Caarmel Engineering College Sub: National Network Security Championship by Network Bulls in association with ACM-IIT Delhi. Dear Sir, On behalf of ACM, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, as the host of this championship, it gives us great pleasure to introduce NNSC 2014, A Network Security Championship to be held in April 2014, NNSC is sponsored & funded by India s leading Network Training Company, Network Bulls. will bring students from all over the country together to participate in the celebration of knowledge and creative extravagance along with experts from the fields of academic as well as industry. With technological innovation scaling new heights, promises to keep a tab on the advancements and stay in sync with the mood of the times. With the introduction of several new events, and old ones remodeled,, is all set to create a new benchmark. This year we are organizing a National Network Security Championship in association with our official Networking partner-network Bulls. We are organizing zonal rounds of NNSC in total 70 Colleges all across India. We are looking to make your esteemed college a Zonal Center for this event. 2 Event Details is National Network Security Championship and a workshop series jointly being organized by Association for Computer Machinery, IIT-Delhi and Network Bulls, Gurgaon. All the preliminary rounds will be held at various esteemed Engineering institutes across INDIA in present academic year and the grand finale will be organized at IIT Delhi under the banner of NNSC (National Network Security Championship). This is a 3 Stage Event as detailed below: Stage 1 (Workshop Round to be held at Zonal Centers) A two day hands-on Network Implementation workshop will be held at only 60 Zonal centers all across India. The details of the Zonal centers and Workshop contents will be available on website for a great promotion of the Institute as a Zonal Center. All the participants who want to participate in NNSC are required to attend the workshops at any Zonal Center and participate in the competition after the workshop. The Duration of the Networking workshop will be of 2 Days (7-8 hr each day). The workshop will be delivered by Cisco Certified Professionals working with Network Bulls, Gurgaon. Stage 2 (Zonal Round to be held at zonal center) Just after the workshop a Mega Competition of on the basis of two day workshop will be held. Winners will be awarded Certificate of Merit, and are required to participate in Final Rounds which will be held in the month of April 2014 at IIT Delhi in association with ACM-IIT Delhi. Runners up and Winners to receive NNSC Goodies. Stage 3 (Final Round to be held at IIT Delhi) Winners of all 60 Zonal Centers will be competing against each other at in April 2014 in Association with ACM-IIT Delhi. Winner of this Final Round will win The National Network Security Champion title and will be awarded and honored by ACM-IIT Delhi. A Certificate of Excellence will also be awarded to the Winner from ACM-IIT Delhi. Free Cisco Networking Training for the runner ups at Network Bulls, Campus. Chance to work as Intern with Network Bulls Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Network Designing and Consultants) on Real Projects of various MNC s. Prizes worth Rupees 1, 00,000 which will include Laptops, Tablets will be given to the winner as well as runner ups.

3 Event Guidelines We expect your association to make NNSC a grand success in your esteemed college. Date of zonal final can be finalized by Telephonic/ conversation with Coordinators of NNSC A proper publicity will be done about the event at the All India Level. The entire event will be conducted at college campus which would ultimately benefit the college students as act as publicity event for college. Each student participating in the workshop will get a participation certificate which would have ACM-IIT Delhi Logo. Benefits of Associating With Us. Name and Logo including website link will be published on our official website ( Mentioning associated college as Official Zonal Partner for India s First Networking Championship. Authorized Team will visit your College to organize the entire event. Requirements Seminar hall/classroom having the enough capacity to conduct hands-on-session for all participants. Good Quality public address system ideally one/two cordless mikes will be required. Projector/ Screen along with black/white board for teaching and presentation purposes. One small stereo jack cord to connect in laptop for its sound system. Laptop/Computer per two students is necessary. Responsibility of Organizers Hospitality (2 days) for a team of 2-3 Technical Trainers from NNSC Team. Pick and Drop facility from the nearest railway station/bus stop/ airport.

Eligibility Criteria All engineering, Science, BCA, MCA, PhD students who have zeal to work in Recession Free Field i.e. Networking and Security can participate. Registration charges Registration Charges Rs 1190 per head. The fee includes workshop training, certification, and Event registration for the participants. When to plan zonal event Any two day between November 2013 to March 2014 in your esteemed organization. Grand finale will be held at IIT Delhi in April zonal event can also be accommodated in any technical symposium or any technical festival This will give huge national level publicity to the symposium, as we will have our centers across India.
