1 COLLEGE OF SAN MATEO NURSING PROGRAM ARTICULATION GRID The following is a list OF APPROVED NURSING PREREQUISITE COURSE SUBSTITUTIONS Updated JAN 2013 Courses on this grid are approved as equivalents to the prerequisite courses required f the of San Mateo Nursing Program. Courses that appear on this grid DO NOT require course substitution fms further approval. Any upper division courses listed receive subject. If you have taken coursewk elsewhere and it does not appear on this grid, follow the infmation provided on the Nursing Program Infmation Sheet located on the website Because nursing programs are impacted it is imptant to carefully review the website f program requirements, prerequisites, and application deadlines. RE: CHEMISTRY PREREQUISITE Beginning with the admissions process f the Fall 2013 class, the Nursing Program requires Chemistry 410, Science Chemistry, equivalent. Other chemistry courses will not be accepted as meeting this requirement. The exception is SMCCCD students with catalog rights pri to fall 2012 as they may still use CHEM f admission to the Fall 2014 nursing class.. Beginning with the admissions process f the class of fall 2015 ALL students must complete CHEM 410 the equivalent.
