3 How do I qualify for the Advantage Program? 2014 Advantage Program Qualifications: The qualifying period for the PPI Solutions Advantage Program is the previous calendar year. For 2014, qualification is based on 2013 production: 1. Settled FYC of $30,000. All risk business will qualify. As it relates to funds, the test will be assets under management in qualifying funds 1, not new investment business written. For each $1,000,000 of qualifying funds under management at the end of the qualifying year the advisor will receive a $2,000 FYC credit reducing the settled FYC criteria, subject to a maximum reduction of $15, % of all apps submitted must be settled. 3. Persistency must be at least 90%. 4. Minimum of 24 policies, but this requirement can be reduced by qualifying funds under management. For example, $1,000,000 of qualifying FUM reduces the criteria by 2 policies, to a maximum reduction of 15 policies. PPI Solutions maintains the right to terminate any advisor from the Advantage Program with 30 days notice. PPI Solutions has the right to immediately terminate an advisor should he/she: 1. Violate the PPI Solutions Code of Conduct. 2. Initiate any supplier transfers of their contracts away from PPI Solutions. 3. Be terminated under any clause of the PPI Solutions Advisor Agreement. 1 Qualifying funds under management are measured solely on total segregated funds on PPI Solutions WealthServ Investments on the FundServ platform. GIC, Mutual Fund, Affinity and Bank products do not count. Page 2

6 CANNEX CANNEX gathers and compiles interest rates and calculation values for financial products and services offered by financial institutions in Canada. CANNEX data is customized and distributed to financial institutions, the media and analytical services. Through the PPI Solutions Advantage Program, you can access a variety of comprehensive tables of public and broker-specific interest rates, values and information related to the products listed below. You can also run RealTime surveys for these products and RealTime client-specific surveys and quotations for annuities. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TRACKED: Fixed interest rate products: Term Deposits, GICs, GIAs, RRSPs, RRIFs, Deposit Accounts Credit products: Mortgages, Loans, Credit Cards, Prime Rates Annuities: Calculation results, Hosted calculators, Custom-written algorithms Daily prices and performance: Mutual Funds, Segregated Funds, Pooled Funds, Labour-sponsored Investment Funds End of day prices for major North American Stock Exchanges Through online access or file transmission, financial institutions regularly update and maintain information about their own products on the CANNEX System.
