2 Allied Health The School of Allied Health Professions building houses the following: a. Allied Health Dean's Office and Student Affairs and Records b. Cardiopulmonary Science (Respiratory Therapy) program c. Clinical Laboratory Sciences (Medical Technology) program d. Physician Assistant program e. Occupational Therapy program f. Physical Therapy program g. Children's Center h. Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic Both educational and clinical services are housed in the building. We have one additional program, Communication Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) that is housed in the Mollie Webb Speech and Hearing Center at 3735 Blair Street. Parking is available directly in front of the building for patients. Free parking for visitors is available across Linwood Avenue. is also available across Claiborne Avenue (school) or (clinical)

3 Clinical Research Building Clinical Trials Office Medicine Billing eurosurgery Billing eurology Clinical Research & europsychological Assessment Psychopharmacology Clinical Research The building is primarily used as the administrative space for the Clinical Trials Office and clinical space for the eurology Clinical Research and Psychopharmacology Clinical Research units. Parking is permitted for patients and visitors to the Clinical Research Building exclusively. Employees, students, or visitors to any other institution facilities are not allowed to park at the Clinical Research Building

4 Feist-Weiller Cancer Center 1st floor: St. Jude Affiliate Clinic and Pediatric Treatment, CT and FWCC community library 2nd floor: Adult Medical Oncology and Hematology and Adult Treatment 3rd floor: Surgical Oncology, ET Oncology, Mammography and Diagnostic Radiology, Operating Rooms and Endoscopy Suite 4th floor: Administrative offices and Clinical Research Administrative offices, Conference Room (Tiger Room) The Feist-Weiller Cancer Center outpatient treatment building is the site of most all outpatient visits for cancer patients, including chemotherapy treatment for adults and children. Cancer screenings are performed in other areas of the medical center, such as Partners in Wellness Clinic in the Ambulatory Care Building and other LSUHSC-S clinics. Patients come to FWCC by referral from a community doctor, or from another LSUHSC-S clinic, or self-referral with diagnostic records. Free parking for cancer patients is available in the dedicated lot around the FWCC building, with a valet available to park the cars. Spaces on the side of the building are reserved for Pediatric cancer patients. While there is room for most all FWCC patients to park, when the FWCC lot is full, we recommend parking in the self-pay lot directly across from FWCC. The fee is $3 and correct change is required

6 Mollie E. Webb Speech and Hearing Center The Mollie E. Webb Speech and Hearing Center provides assessment and treatment services for individuals with speech, language, and/or hearing disorders. The university's academic graduate program in speech-language pathology also is housed within the center. There is free parking available in front of the building on Blair Street Blair Street

7 Biomedical Research Institute The laboratory facilities contain core research space for: monoclonal antibody production oligonucleotide and peptide synthesis gene cloning DA sequencing high performance liquid chromatography tissue culture positron emission tomography magnetic resonance spectroscopy electron microscopy

8 Emergency Beginning this Fall, the ambulatory patient drop-off and pick-up Emergency Department entrance will be the circle drive entrance on King's Highway (just off of the intersection of King's and Linwood), shown at right. The AMBULACE OLY entrance, above, will be located on Linwood Avenue. There is free parking available across Linwood Avenue

9 Eye Clinic Scheduled procedures include: ACT Visual Fields FPFA Laser Lasik We have Private Clinic (serviced by Staff Physicians, we have staff physicians who practice general ophthalmology and also of the following sub-specialty: Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Plastics) and General Clinic (staff by residents but monitored/assisted by the staff physicians). Second year and third year residents rotate throughout the clinic; grand rounds, conferences, lectures are given daily in the clinic to our residents. There is self-pay parking available on Kings Highway adjacent to the Eye Clinic

10 Louisiana State University School of Medicine - Shreveport The Medical School Building (B-Building) houses administrative offices, faculty offices, departmental administrative offices and several laboratories for clinical and basic science departments. It also houses the morgue. The adjoining Building-C houses the Medical Library. All main lecture rooms, as well as the Health Sciences Center's auditorium are located in Building-B (or Building-C, the auditorium). The school bookstore and student workout room reside in Building B. There is self-pay parking available across

17 Physical Plant Physical Plant and Facility Planning is committed to providing professional services for construction and maintenance of the LSUHSC-S medical, educational and research facilities, to promote the programs of the institution and provide the best possible environment for patients, students, staff and the public

18 Radiation Therapy Center The Radiation Therapy Center serves the hospital and community with standard and emerging radiation therapy treatments in a caring environment providing education, guidance and emotional support to our patients. The center also houses eurosurgery's Gamma Knife Unit for the treatment of patients with select neurological conditions. Patients may access the Radiation Therapy Center on the first floor of the hospital from the entrance. Patients may also access the center on the ground floor from the entrance. There is free parking available on Linwood Avenue and self-pay parking across Kings Highway

22 Patient shuttle stops Chevyland (M Lot orth) Four patient transport vehicles (3 with lift capabilities) are in operation on a consistent basis starting at 7:30 am. The shuttle makes routine stops until 6:00 pm; however, a driver remains on site until completion of all clinics in the Ambulatory Care Center. Shuttle service is provided on an as-needed basis to the WIC office located on Wilkinson Street and the various self-pay parking lots in the immediate surrounding area.
