What is Ai-Detox? Frequently Asked Questions: Ai-Detox Ai-Detox is a Chinese herbal medicinal formula, produced using state of the art biotechnology, which ensures the utmost standards in quality and safety. It is a clinically proven and effective herbal formula with numerous health benefits. What are the functions of Ai-Detox? Ai-Detox is a Chinese herbal tea in tablet form. This unique formula is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that specifically enhance liver cleansing ability (removing Liver-Qi congestion and nourishing the Liver), cleansing the bowels (removing Dampness and Heat), and gallbladder (removing Dampness and Heat), as well as to flush out built up bile acid (in a sludge-like form). With the support of Ai- Detox, your liver will produce a higher quality of bile acid, which will result in a decreased chance of gallbladder stones. Ai-Detox will also enhance your body s detoxification process, thereby allowing your liver to properly metabolize the nutrients you ingest. In TCM, many diseases stem from liver problems, such as obesity, depression, liver disease, high cholesterol, fatigue, chronic constipation or digestive problems and arthritis. Because of the wide range of effects, Ai-Detox may be used in a large number of clinical applications by experienced healthcare practitioners. Clinically, it has been proven to be a very healthy and effective weight loss formula. Who might benefit from taking Ai-Detox? (Consult your health-care practitioner, and use Ai-Detox as a complementary treatment) If you suffer from: Obesity (overweight) Low energy Mood swings Irregular bowel movements or Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Digestion problems (indigestion, heart-burn, belch and bloating etc.) Gallbladder problems (pain or stones) Chronic pain or arthritis Fibromylgia Gout

High cholesterol High blood pressure Diabetes Depression or anxiety Allergy/sensitivities (food and environmental) Skin problems (eczema, psoriasis, rashes) Gingivitis Bad breath Cancer How can Ai-Detox be so beneficial for so many ailments? Ai-Detox has so many applications because it has been formulated to have four major functions: 1) To help improve liver function and detoxification (phase 1 and 2); 2) To help the liver to produce a greater quantity and a higher quality of bile; 3) To help to flush bile-sludge; 4) To help cleanse the bowels. Liver: As we know, the liver cleanses 90% of impurities in our blood, including toxic chemicals, bacteria, viruses, alcohol, caffeine, toxic byproducts of metabolism, pharmaceutical medications and excessive hormones. A healthy liver also ensures proper bile acid production, which has many benefits for our health, including: better digestion, a stronger immunity, as well as removing gall bladder stones and bile-sludge. The liver is responsible for the conversion of all of the carbohydrates, protein and fat that we ingest, which also determines your overall nutritional balance and weight. It is also responsible for 80 % of the cholesterol production in our body. A healthier liver is indeed the key for many health problems. Bile and Bile Acid: The human body is supposed to produce 1 ½ liters of bile per day, which deodorizes smelly stool and gas, breaks down fatty foods, disinfects germs, and helps to break down body fat and cellulite. Bile acid is also responsible for the bowels ability to eliminate waste. The irregular secretion of bile acid can be the cause of irritable bowel movements (diarrhea, constipation and/or alternating diarrhea and constipation). A lack of bile acid is the number one cause of excessive stomach acid (indigestion occurs when bile acid is missing, which will then force the stomach to produce more acid in order to compensate for the lack of bile). Also, without bile acid, the body would not be capable of breaking down the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Bowel cleanse: 80% of our immune defense is located around our intestinal tract, which is where our body receives the first assault from both germs and/or toxins. Having proper bile acid flow helps to disinfect germs, ensure removal of toxins in the intestinal tract, and it frees the immune system to protect other areas that may be in need. For example, chronic gingivitis can be improved using Ai-Detox, since a cleaner gastrointestinal tract and a healthier liver can indirectly strengthen a person s immunity, therefore

allowing the body to fight other infections (including low-grade infections), even cancers, more effectively. Another key element to note in terms of bowel cleansing is that 25% of the detoxification process in our body actually occurs in both the small and large intestines; the remaining 75% of the toxins will be absorbed into our body (90% of it will be detoxified in liver). Since Ai-Detox is a liver cleansing formula, should I expect any form of a healing crisis? This always depends on the individual s health condition. A simple rule to follow: the more ill you are, the more severe the healing crisis will usually be. Having said that, many of the symptoms that may be experienced during a healing crisis can be minimized by following proper nutritional support in conjunction with drinking 2-3 liters of purified water daily. This is with proper rest as well. What is a healing crisis? More often than not, the road to improved health or reduced pain begins with a healing crisis (also known as the Herxheimer reaction). The saying no pain.no gain is often true when it comes to many different forms of healing, especially during any type of detoxification process. The reason this crisis happens is because your body is trying to eliminate toxins at a rate that is greater than your body s own disposal system. The more toxic a person s body is, the more severe the healing crisis will be. When people enter this stage, many believe that their treatment is not working and that it is in fact making them worse. However, these reactions are actually signs that the treatment is working and that the body is eliminating the toxic build up, and therefore is setting the stage for regeneration. Healing crisis normally lasts from 3 to 10 days, but it may repeat in many cycles depending how many layers of toxin you have or it may be prolonged due to improper diet while detoxification. What are the symptoms I may expect to see or feel during a healing crisis? Symptoms of a healing crisis will usually begin with the very same problems that the practitioner is trying to heal, also influenced by past conditions or personal issues. There are a wide variety of reactions that may manifest during this process, with some of the most common symptoms listed below. Note: Some of symptoms may not be from the actual healing crisis. They may be from the withdrawal symptoms due to dietary changes. Headache Tiredness Indigestion, Bloating, Cramps Stomach acid Loose bowel diarrhea Frequent urination

Increased bowel movements Burning and sore anus Mucus discharge Discharge in the eyes Smelly stool and gas Flu-like sick feeling Mental Fogginess Appetite decrease Increased joint/muscle pain Extreme fatigue /restlessness Insomnia Anxiety, mood swing What if I am usually very sensitive to medications, can I still take Ai- Detox? If you are usually very sensitive to medications, it is recommended that you start at a lower dosage and work your way up to a suitable dosage for your level of toxicity. Recommended daily dosage 4 to 8 tablets, 2 to 3 times a day, preferably taken minutes before meals. However, if necessary, you are able to take it 30 minutes after meals. If you begin taking Ai-Detox and encounter severe diarrhea, reduce your recommended dosage in half and gradually increase your dose as your body allows. People who suffer from a severe blood and Qi deficiency should not take this dosage as it is not suitable for their constitution. What should I avoid eating/ingesting while I am on Ai-Detox? Caffeine Spices Red meat Sugar Alcohol Processed food Food you are sensitive to What should I do if I encounter the symptoms of a healing crisis? First, you should drink a suitable amount of purified water during the detoxification process, since water will help to cleanse your body and minimize the symptoms. Secondly you need to ensure proper rest and sleep. Third, you will need to avoid the food mentioned in the previous question and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. What can I expect after the healing-crisis process? Weight loss A sense of well-being

Stable moods Increased energy Increased bowel movements Improvement of bowel condition Better digestion process (especially with fat) Liver will be able to metabolize nutrition better Clearer mind Decreased cravings Smaller appetite (particularly when Ai-Detox is taken before meals) How long should I be taking Ai-Detox? For the sole purpose of a thorough detoxification: 3 weeks to 3 months (depends on your health) For weight loss: 6 to 12 months For other ailments or details: consult your health practitioner Are there any side effects of taking Ai-Detox? There are no side effects from Ai-Detox. However, the uncomfortable symptoms which people will most likely suffer from during the program are due to the healing crisis (which may last anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks, depending on the level of toxicity). What should I expect if I am using Ai-Detox for weight loss? The healthiest way to lose weight is by going through liver detoxification. Weight loss may not happen at first, since this depends on how toxic you are. The body has to go through the detoxification process before weight loss will occur. Clinically, it has been observed that on average it takes approximately 2 to 6 weeks to notice weight loss, however, there are cases in which patients have lost weight within the first week. Within the first few weeks, people may even notice their weight rise slightly due to the detoxification process (which involves water retention). This weight will decline once the body becomes less toxic. As soon as you notice the first signs of weight loss, you will start to lose fat mass effectively (clinical observation: 0.8%-2.5% fat loss per month). Clinical observations also show that Ai-Detox is helpful in promoting loss of cellulite. When Ai-Detox is taken before meals, it has been clinically observed suppressing the appetite.
