Supervision of two half-time media assistants. Responsible for staff development in information technology and computer use. Chaired the Comprehensive School Planning Committee and the Media Advisory Committee Supervised conversion of library to Dynix automation system. Students from LIS 654, The School Library Media Specialist and Curriculum, used the digital collection to create lesson plans that would enable K- 12 teachers to utilize the collection. Dissertation Committee (2010) Served on Karen Gavigan s dissertation committee. Her research focused on the use of graphic novels with male readers. Research Projects Comparison of State School Library Media Standards, AASL Taskforce on Quantitative Standards. ( ) This project, sponsored by the American Association of School Librarians, is a content analysis of the quantitative standards set by individual states for school library media programs, facilities and personnel.
