4 SAP Mobile Apps Challenge for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 Prerequisites and Winner Criteria Prerequisites & Sequence for Partners Open to new and existing partners with qualified development staff ISV, SI, VAR, etc The Mobile Apps Challenge Registration starts in July 2013 Mobile app must be SAP certified and live on the SAP store by December 15 The partner must therefore join the SAP PartnerEdge program for Application Development, see: SAP certification of mobile apps can be initiated during the entire program for all SAP Store ready apps. Apps must be fully documented including all SAP Store deliverables and a demo video. This content is essential for winner identification. Partners can enter existing apps already live on the SAP Store; and can submit single or multiple apps Apps submitted to previous SAP Mobile or HANA Cloud Apps Challenges are excluded from participation. An app can only be submitted to one SAP 2013 Apps Challenge. Criteria for Winner Selection Business value for the target customer segment. Innovation in developing Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 apps using the SAP Mobile Platform and/or SAP NetWeaver Gateway, industry-standard languages and protocols such as Visual Studio and OData.
