5 Key Accountabilities & Outcomes (including delegated Authority) These are the Critical Success Factors for the role. Assist in the management of all aspects of the payroll function to ensure fortnightly payroll is completed accurately and on time Ensure knowledge of relevant industrial, payroll, taxation, superannuation, workers compensation and record keeping are kept up to date and applied Apply legislative obligations under the E.O and O.S.H policies Demonstrate proficient and accurate financial/payroll data entry skills, including but not limited to daily entry of job costing timecards All underpinning Knowledge Skills and Abilities required to deliver the Purpose KAs and Outcomes of this position Specialist knowledge & skills Judgement & problem solving skills Interpersonal and Teamwork skills Ability to read and interpret Demonstrated ability to Excellent interpersonal legislation Apply and provide advice on awards and collective agreements relevant to payroll Apply advanced Microsoft Excel practices as well as a high level of proficiency in MS Office programs undertake duties in an ethical manner and adhere to confidentiality provisions Ability to make complex award and collective agreement interpretations on a daily basis Ability to analysis and resolve employee enquires relating to system setup and communication skill including the ability to liaise with a diverse a range of people Establish effective working relationships with customers and team members, apply sound communication skills to resolve issues Function effectively in a diverse and challenging environment Management skills Effectively manage time and prioritise tasks according to needs of the payroll function Ability to work with minimal supervision Able to complete all designated tasks within mutually agreed timeframes
