1 Todd Beamer High School Aug 2017 First day of School is Wed. Sept. 6 th 7:25am-1:55pm Dear Todd Beamer Scholars, Staff, Parents and Families, The transition to a new, collaborative administrative and school-wide professional learning team has begun and we are honored to be a part of it. When support was requested, Superintendent Tammy Campbell and Deputy Superintendent Dani Pfeiffer responded, asking Ms. Weatherhead to step in to deeply support administrators and the vision and mission of staff; so important is our district s and OUR own desired success for Todd Beamer High School! We hope not to let you down. We come into this environment with a genuine respect for all the leaders and teacher-leaders that came before us, and those who are here today. We come with a profound sense of optimism for what we can cocreate together. Let us be clear: we are all in this together. And we will move forward, closing the door to what was, and busting open new ones to a school vision that will greatly depend on healthy relationships, rigorous learning, and high expectations. You can expect that from the both of us as we expect that for ourselves. Much good came out of small schools over the last two decades, but the time has come to systematize our efforts in order to provide the best, most equitable learning environment for all scholars. Our Federal Way Public Schools Strategic Plan will guide us in our work to continually learn, lead, utilize data, and collaborate to ensure our scholars have a voice, a dream, and a bright future. Join us as we partner together to build something greater than we could ever imagine. Our children deserve that much. With respect, Eric Marshall Anali Weatherhead Co-Principals Todd Beamer High School Titan Tip-Off (Schedule Pick-Up) Monday, August 28 th 12-3pm OR Tuesday, August 29 th 3-6pm* *BBQ and meet administrators and staff this day only PICK UP your schedule Pay school fees Get ID card AND yearbook photo taken Bring with you: Health History Form in this packet
