2 Job Posting Process Overview A job opening triggers a requisition request. HR reviews the requisition and posts the job to the Web. The application is either rejects or forwarded to the hiring manager based on qualifications defined on the requisition. Candidates apply online for the position. Hiring managers interview and submit to hire to HR. HR reviews the hire request and finalizes the hire checklist.

3 Automatic Workflow Workflows support approvals for Job requisitions Applications Hiring Checklists A workflow has been predefined to match the current approval process for inside the department and for outside the department.

4 Job Posting Process A job opening triggers a requisition request. The application is either rejects or forwarded to the hiring manager based on qualifications defined on the requisition. Ability to create specialty sections for specific job postings Job description database populated and specific for each department Jobs are automatically posted to the Web, which saves time Posting layouts can be configured to our layouts to match local requirements Third-party job boards are supported, such as Higher Ed Jobs.Com Support for both internal and external postings

5 Job Posting Request The Job Positing Request is the equivalent to the current Personnel Vacancy Form.

6 Job Posting Request Hiring managers search for and review job posting requests. Hiring managers as well as others in the approval workflow are able to access job posting requests. These include postings waiting for action and all requests created in their department or that have been through the approval process. Workflow history:

7 Job Descriptions A library of TWU customized job descriptions are maintained in Novus. Hiring managers have access to job descriptions within their organization and can attach the job descriptions to the hiring request form. Job Descriptions are attached to the job posting request form.

8 Applicant Process The application is either rejects or forwarded to the hiring manager based on qualifications defined on the requisition. Candidates apply online for the position Applicants apply to TWU application by creating an applicant login/account Applicants can use information from a previous application to complete a new application Applicants can apply for more than one job by completing only one application Applicants track the status of positions applied for Applicants will receive notification regarding the status of the position

9 Application Applicant creates an account to apply to TWU jobs.

10 Management of Applications Hiring managers can manage their applicants without affecting the applicant's status with other hiring managers Applicant summary page can be customized to include customer specific information Custom rating, rejecting, and classifying codes are available Export to Excel capability to advanced search results so managers can export their results to Excel for reporting purposes. Solution supports multiple vacancies, i.e. faculty, staff, etc. Application routing can vary based on approvals required for position Screening questions filter unqualified applicants Applicants can also be screened by the system, HR and/or committee staff

11 Management of Applications Hiring managers can sort applications by status to help organize the applications they are reviewing.

13 Interviewing Review approved or screened applicants Conduct Interviews and document Submit candidate to be hired Interview criteria can vary based on position Multiple interviewers can rate the applicant Results can be reported on with optional EEO data Brings consistency to our evaluation process

15 Hiring Requests Hiring managers interview and submit to hire to HR HR reviews the hire request and finalizes the hire checklist Forms are tailored to our needs Requests flow through approval workflow we define Multiple top candidates can be submitted to another review process

16 Hiring Requests Form The hiring manager completes the Hiring Request Form. The form shows the Applicant information at the top, the workflow information for where this request is going for approval, interview that has been conducted for the chosen candidate. Once an applicant has been Submitted for Hire, they are in the hiring workflow for approval through the organization to be hired for the position.
