He is currently leading the Mobile Experience Delivery Platform project within Motorola s Mobile Devices business. Earlier, as part of Motorola Labs, he led the Enterprise Strategic Decision Management/Enterprise Knowledge Collaboration project within Motorola. George holds a B.A. and M.S. in Chemistry from the State University of New York Center at Binghamton (currently called Binghamton University), an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester s Simon School of Business and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He holds 52 U.S. patents and has authored 20 papers in the areas of imaging, colloids and polymer science. He is a frequent lecturer on liquid imaging technologies, decision theory and project and portfolio valuation. Janet Giesselman General Manager Dow Oil & Gas, The Dow Chemical Company Janet Giesselman was named President and General Manager of the Dow Oil and Gas business for the Dow Chemical Company in June In this role she is accountable for leading the business strategy and launch for this new market facing business. Prior to this role she served as Vice President of Dow s latex business based in Horgen, Switzerland. Giesselman joined Dow in 2001 as Vice President of Disease Management and was later promoted to Vice President, Corporate Affairs for Dow AgroSciences in As V.P. of Corporate affairs she led Dow AgroSciences strategy and Global Government, Public and Regulatory Affairs. Prior to Dow, Giesselman held various leadership positions in General Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain for Rohm & Haas. In her role as European business director based in Paris, France, she led the agrochemicals business. In 1997, she served as regional business and strategic planning director for Asia-Pacific. Marc Halpern Research Director Gartner Marc Halpern, P.E., Ph.D., is a research director in Gartner, where he is the lead analyst covering product life cycle management strategies and software applications in the Verticals unit. He focuses on design, engineering, product data management, manufacturing process planning and product portfolio management. He has more than 25 years experience in the roles of engineer, consultant, software developer, and industry analyst. All of these roles were related to product development. Dr. Halpern received his graduate engineering degrees at Carnegie-Mellon University and his Bachelors degree at Brown University. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of New York. Paul Heller Chief Technology Officer Sopheon Paul Heller, Chief Technology Officer, has 30 years of experience in software development and software technologies. Mike has been a champion of driving innovation by integrating deep consumer insights, new technology and new business models, overlaid with great design. Mike led OfficeMax into premium private label through the creation of the award-winning TUL writing instruments line, along with the creation of numerous other brands including DiVOGA, a line of fashion inspired office products, and InPlace, a line of premium office products helping people to be more organized. At Goodyear, Mike helped shape the Goodyear Assurance line of tires and the Goodyear ResponseEdge line of tires. ResponseEdge was the first to match Goodyear s patents on carbon fiber in automotive tires with the tuner market. Mike has been an evangelist for integrating design and design thinking into product development and brand building inside global corporations. Mike has spoken on innovation and brand building at numerous global conferences, IDSA conferences and events at leading universities. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. John Lacontora Senior Manger, Innovation, Advanced Systems, AMSE, The Boeing Company Dr. John Lacontora is the Senior Manager of Innovation within the Boeing, Phantom Works, Analysis, Modeling and Simulations Experimentation organization. Prior to joining The Boeing Company in 2005, John served 26 years as an officer in the US Army and worked as a consultant to the Department of Defense in Learning and Performance Support Systems development and implementation. Ron Lasser Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering Tufts University Dr. Ron Lasser brings over twenty-five years of industrial experience and practical engineering knowledge to the classroom, student projects, research, and corporate ecosystems. His approach

8 is to inspire and apply critical thinking to real-life problems, then look toward innovation and technology to provide a solution. His creativity, high energy level and passion have yielded an impressive track record. Ron has worked with U.S. and international companies on product realization, innovation and technology, product definition, product portfolio management, and trouble-shooting. Ron has improved time-to-profit for small entrepreneurial companies to billion dollar international corporations to achieve bottom line results. Ron started his career in telecommunications and computers developing Unix and MS DOSbased systems and networks for AT&T Bell Laboratories. He worked at DuPont in their Electronic Prepress business developing scanners, document processing, and color imaging products. Ron was the director of engineering at General Scanning responsible for medical imaging and printing technologies and helped take the company public. Ron is a Professor of the Practice at Tufts University in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He teaches course in Engineering Entrepreneurship, Senior Design Project, Linear Systems Theory, and Electrical Systems. He is a member of the advisory board for Hematotypes, Inc., a medical device start-up. Ron has a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in mechanical engineering, also from Carnegie-Mellon University. He has completed the executive education Strategic Marketing Management program at the Harvard Business School. He research interests include digital image processing and animation, innovation, product portfolio design and dynamics, and structuring organizational ecosystems for success. Lewis Director, Global Enterprise Architecture, Pfizer Janice Lewis is a Director at Pfizer in the Global Enterprise Architecture group in IT. She started in the architecture team at Pfizer in 2002 with a focus on business and information architecture for Pfizer Research. During this time, she also established metadata management and reference data / master data processes and solutions for the broader organization. Her current focus is on portfolio and governance of architecture including oversight of enterpriselevel standards, roadmaps and reuse across all business and service areas. Prior to joining the architecture team at Pfizer, she was a Quality Manager for Finance, HR and Operations systems at the company where she established development lifecycle and service level agreement standards in addition to her quality management activities. Before joining Pfizer, Janice spent 15 years at General Dynamics, Electric Boat division first in electrical engineering and then in IT. She led groups doing IT strategy, development,

9 maintenance and administration work supporting all engineering disciplines. Later, as the Supervisor of Architecture Planning and Development for the company, she developed, implemented and led an enterprise-wide project portfolio process and she worked with procurement specialists across General Dynamics to standardize procurement practices and solutions. She holds a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Connecticut, a masters degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a certificate in Drug Development from Temple University. David Matheson, Ph.D. Co-Founder, President and CEO SmartOrg, Inc. Dr. Matheson has helped senior management of firms in the United States and Europe improve the value of R&D, product development, innovation, capital investment and strategy. His practical experience covers a wide variety of industries, including software development, biotechnology, telecommunications, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, electric power and entertainment. Scott Mathews Technical Engineer The Boeing Company Scott Mathews is a Boeing Associate Technical Fellow and technical lead for the Business Engineering team within the Boeing research and development division. At Boeing he provides technical consulting to a group of mathematical engineers responsible for developing investment and risk models for new products and strategically significant projects. He has expertise in complex financial and investment decision modeling that features real option valuation. Scott has a number of patents and patents pending in the field. For the past 15 years he has been engaged in stochastic modeling, capital markets investment and financial analysis, and international strategic analysis. Previously, Scott was engaged in the United States, Europe, and Asia as an engineer in robotic control systems, artificial intelligence, and systems and software development. He has academic training in computer engineering, digital control systems, artificial intelligence computer science, and computational finance.

10 Tom McCarthy Senior Vice President Fidelity Tom McCarthy is the Senior Vice President of Technology Products for National Financial, a division of Fidelity Investments. Mr. McCarthy joined Fidelity in 2003 as Vice President of Product Management overseeing several product lines and has also has been actively involved with the strategy development for National Financial. Prior to joining Fidelity in October 2003, Mr. McCarthy was a founding employee and senior manager of GivingCapital where he led the sales, relationship management and product development areas. GivingCapital is a developer and distributor of complex wealth management products focused on charitable giving solutions. Previously Mr. McCarthy was a Vice President at PaineWebber where he was responsible for the overall strategic direction and product management of the PaineWebber EDGE and Open Financial Exchange (OFX) product lines. He also held senior positions in product management and business analysis at Fiserv, where he developed reporting and transaction cash management software solutions for corporate banking clients. Mr. McCarthy received his BS and MBA in Finance from Fordham University. Mike McGlogan, Vice President, Open Options Corporation As a Vice President at Open Options, Mike McGlogan is responsible for client business development. He also participates in facilitating the Open Options game theory process at client sites and interpreting game theory results into practical action plans. Prior to joining Open Options, Mike had an interesting and varied career. He served as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, followed by 10 years of work as a Senior Executive responsible for trading bonds and treasury bills for several international brokerage firms. For 5 years, Mike also represented security software firms Intellitactics and BindView Development. At both these organizations, he was responsible for managing their Canadian sales operations, selling Enterprise Security Management software to large government and corporate enterprises. Mike is a graduate of the Wilfrid Laurier School of Business and Economics and has taken numerous military, investment and information technology related courses.

11 Dennis Piccininni EVP, COO PDWare Dennis Piccininni is a seasoned corporate executive, with a track record of strategically growing software businesses. A creative and innovative thinker, with a deep understanding of corporate structure and culture, Dennis consistently produces top-line revenue and profit growth while building a strong corporate infrastructure and an operational model designed to sustain long term growth. Dennis brings over 30 years experience in the software industry to PDW. Most recently, his abilities to develop highly motivated and talented teams have led to stellar results at AXS- One, in his position as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. As President and CEO of Systemcorp, he developed a strategic enterprise level software and professional services organization. At ABT Corporation, as Vice President and General Manager of the Americas, Dennis restructured the organization towards solution selling and steered the company toward a leadership position in its field. Earlier in his career, Dennis held positions including Vice President, General Manager, Regional Manager and President of his own company. Dennis received his BS in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology. Armando Reyes Senior Manager, IS Strategy & Planning USCellular Armando is a Sr. Manager for IS Strategy & Planning at U.S. Cellular responsible for Portfolio & Financial Planning. His 16 years of experience across the beverage, manufacturing and telecommunications industries include applying Management Science Techniques to planning and optimization models. His undergraduate degree is in Industrial Engineering and he has an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin. Prior to joining U.S. Cellular, Armando was an Operations Research Analyst in the Philippines and then a Supply Chain consultant at a Big 6 firm. John Savoia Strategy Planning Specialist USCellular John is a Strategy Planning analyst at U.S. Cellular responsible for managing and optimizing their portfolio of initiatives. He has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and 8 years of experience in resource capacity planning and scheduling across the manufacturing and telecommunications industries.
