2 The implementation of the ACA is here and in a time of economic uncertainty, many organizations now have to manage a line item like never before medical benefits. Affordability, compliance mandates and proposed reporting requirements have many confounded with the thought of how to manage costs, track data, report the data and ensure penalties and risk are mitigated on an ongoing basis. Employers must find a solution to ensure that benefits design, planning and management all tie with the compliance required under the ACA. It is critical that employers get ahead of the curve and be ready to manage hours, benefits cost and ensure compliance on a monthly basis, or face unnecessary and costly penalties and high administrative burden and cost in defending processes.
