EUROPEAN SUPERVISOR EDUCATION INITIATIVE (ESE) ESE was established in 2009 as an alliance of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, Deutsche Bundesbank, Oesterreichische Nationalbank, Banque centrale du Luxembourg and Goethe Business School. ESE aims to offer European financial supervisors high-level training programs that conform to uniform standards, as well as combining the experiences of practitioners with the theoretical knowledge of academic research.

The CEEC offers tailor-made programs, accompanied from program design to implementation by our Chinese-speaking team. Course materials and teaching are both bilingual, supported by internationally experienced Chinese interpreters. Karel s Club Executive Insurance Forum In cooperation with the International Center for Insurance Regulation (ICIR), Goethe Business School established Karel s Club in 2013 as an Executive Insurance Forum. Its intention is to strengthen the trilogue between insurance executives, regulators and academia. The wider objective is to enable thoughtful and provocative discussions under Chatham House Rules that will help to shape strategic thinking about the future development of the insurance industry. These discussions take into account how the European and international regulations agenda will affect the business models of insurance companies.

In accordance with the specific developmental goals, managers are motivated to reflect on their mind-sets and attitudes with the goal of adjusting the way they think and behave. Faculty of Economics and Business Administration The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Goethe University is widely regarded as one of Germany s leading faculties. Its researchers and lecturers are regularly ranked among the best in their field and are members of top advisory boards across Europe. The faculty s excellent reputation is evidenced by over 4,500 student enrolments, as well as by numerous national and international companies recruiting its graduates and intensively collaborating on research. House of Finance The House of Finance is a platform that bundles interdisciplinary research and educational institutions at the interface of business administration, economics and law. In all, around 240 scholars conduct research and offer courses on finance and monetary issues, among them 35 professors. It is one of Europe s largest research groups in this field. Center of Excellence Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe (SAFE) Funded by the LOEWE Excellence Initiative, SAFE is a collaboration between the Center for Financial Studies and Goethe University Frankfurt. SAFE is located in the House of Finance and dedicated to research and policy advising in the area of finance. Center for Financial Studies (CFS) CFS conducts independent and internationally oriented research in important areas of financial and monetary economics. It also contributes to policy debates and discussions by organizing a number of highly recognized events. In building a platform for research and policy advising in the House of Finance, CFS draws on its international network of academics, the financial industry and central banks. International Center for Insurance Regulation (ICIR) ICIR is a research institute within the House of Finance that specializes in insurance regulation topics. Its goal is to provide internationally visible research output, to establish an independent platform for an exchange of ideas on the development of insurance regulation, and to offer high-level training programs to regulatory authorities and insurers. CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP AND BEHAVIOR IN ORGANIZATIONS (CLBO) CLBO is an applied research institute that combines interdisciplinary knowledge from economics, psychology and sociology to cover specific human resource management topics. Based on the experiences and behaviors of individuals in organizations, CLBO explores factors including performance, satisfaction and wellbeing.
