Canadian venture capital funds investing in non-canadian companies saw a spike this year, with $409 million invested, an increase of 76% over 2013 levels. This level of global deal-making among Canadian VC investors has not been so robust since Trends in the US VC market VC market activity in the United States continued to expand in the final quarter of 2014, with an annual grand total of US$48 billion invested in 4,356 deals, or 61% more than the US$30 billion invested the year prior.
