Although currently in the process of review, the University's Corporate Plan for outlines our priorities and is available to download at irectorate of Corporate Affairs The new irectorate of Corporate Affairs brings together the three existing areas of Corporate Communications, Marketing and Pre-nrolment Services (formerly part of Student and Learning Services). Staff are working together to translate the University's aspirations into activity that enhances Sheffield Hallam's reputation and profile amongst all its stakeholders, both external and internal, and across all areas of University activity, working closely with colleagues in the Faculties and other irectorates. 2 Alumni and development Business to business marketing Creative and digital services Future Student Relationship Management programme (FSRM) Higher ducation Progression Partnership Market ntelligence Media, public relations and public affairs Outreach and UK recruitment development Pre-enrolment student liaison and undergraduate and direct admissions Schools and colleges partnerships Staff and student engagement and communications Student recruitment The Role Following the recent introduction of a new CRM system we are now looking to appoint an experienced CRM marketing professional to lead on the further development and delivery of integrated and personalised marketing communications across all of our student markets. Your role will be to develop and deliver market specific CRM plans to help build the relationship between the University and its prospective students, ensuring delivery through integration within sector specific marketing plans. Working with CRM colleagues across the directorate you will champion CRM within the University, providing specialist advice and support as required. You should have experience of delivering marketing strategy in a B2C environment, together with specialist experience of developing CRM. Your solid working knowledge of CRM systems and experience of project management and implementation will ensure you have the confidence to work and plan strategically across the University. This exciting and challenging new role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to influence people and events through negotiation. 3 Job escription Job Title Faculty/ept Senior Marketing Officer (CRM) Marketing irectorate Grade 7 Reports to irect reports Role Purpose Head of Student Marketing One direct report (tbc) n response to the University's Corporate Plan and evolving Student xperience strategy, the post holder is responsible for the development and delivery of integrated and personalised marketing CRM activity for designated areas to deliver effective marketing CRM strategies. They will provide marketing CRM expertise for the irectorate of Corporate Affairs in support of the irectorate and Faculty business plans and objectives, ensuring delivery through the integration within marketing plans. They will also be responsible for embedding University-wide marketing CRM activity across all student-facing market segments, impacting positively on student acquisition and retention in relation to recruitment targets. Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the development, delivery and evaluation of integrated and personalised marketing CRM plans, including customer journeys and contact strategies, across all student market segments. Project manage a team of staff involved in the delivery of CRM communications across the University in the effective delivery and evaluation of the marketing CRM plan Line management of staff employed to directly support the role holder To contribute to the development of the University's marketing CRM strategy as part of the overall marketing and recruitment strategy. Working in conjunction with the Student Marketing and Marketing Managers, be responsible for development of marketing CRM across all student markets to raise the profile and enhance the reputation of the University, and positively impact on the conversion of enquirers and applicants to enrolled students. evelop effective working relationships across the University and be a primary contact for strategic marketing CRM Working in conjunction with faculty business leads, support the development of new approaches to marketing CRM. stablish credibility across the University as a marketing CRM expert for the designated areas through the provision of strategic marketing CRM advice and support evelop detailed briefs identifying strategic requirements for the delivery of the marketing CRM plan including market research, CRM campaigns, promotional materials, events etc. Work in partnership with the Market intelligence officer responsible for student intelligence. 4 dentify internal and external PR opportunities for their designated area and for wider promotion of the University nationally, working with the corporate communications team on delivery. Responsible for the day-to-day smooth running and execution of the marketing CRM plan with an overview on all marketing communications outputs working closely with partners in the faculties, and irectorate of Corporate Affairs Manage resources and marketing activities in accordance with agreed University marketing strategies and University plans and policies. Responsibility for management of the designated marketing budget including reporting on progress against plan and identification of opportunities for joint projects and initiatives with other budget holders.
