2 Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear business friends, AZAS INVEST s.r.o. is a private Czech engineering, designing and business company dealing mainly with export of complete industrial plants, technologies, technologic lines and equipment in the area of petrochemistry, food-processing, light and processing industry and environmental protection, water treatment plant and sewage works, power industry, engineering, bathing, gas supplies and complete industrial plant preparation and management abroad including staffing. The company was established in 1996, being focused mainly on Russia and the former Soviet Union countries in the first years of its existence. After the end of the war conflict in Balkan, the company got actively involved in assisting in restoring this part of Europe. Thanks to the successes achieved in the process of restoring the petro-chemical industry in this region, and mainly the quality work of our experts, the company became the coordinator of long-term projects of the development assistance provided by the Czech government. In the following years, we were involved in the development assistance projects and assistance in liquidating the consequences of the war conflicts and natural disasters in various countries of the world, such as China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia and Monte Negro, Albania, Philippines and Vietnam. As a part of these projects, AZAS INVEST got important business contacts, verified the ability of its personnel to perform quality work in non-standard conditions, and mainly strengthened the company good reputation. For the activities related to the post-war restoration of Iraq, AZAS INVEST initiated establishment of a specific consortium of 26 companies called AZAS Group, and became the consortium leader. In November 2003, the AZAS Group association got its representation in the Basra City in southern Iraq. Despite the big safety risks the company employees operating in this extremely unstable territory have to face all the time it was the only company from the Czech Republic that managed to successfully finish all of the Iraqian Republic Recovery projects, which the companies of the AZAS Group consortium presented to the Czech government. At the present, AZAS INVEST works on very extensive and prestigious projects slaughter house building in Sudan and Russia, cement works in Sudan and Saudi Arabia, Novi Sad refinery restoration in Serbia and Monte Negro, deliveries of water treatment plants to Iraq, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Sudan. We also work on the Mongolia trans-asian road projects as a part of the Millennium program, drinking water supplies for the Mongolian city of Mandalgobi and projects in other countries of the world. Besides the company projects, AZAS INVEST is also involved in activities of other Czech companies in a various way and to a various extent, whether in the stage of the project preparation, as well as the project realization, mostly in the third-world countries. Thanks to its activities, AZAS INVEST belongs to the expanding and progressive companies, which improve the living standard of people in many countries of the world with the everyday precise and quality work of its experts. Thanks to the good knowledge of the territories and its know-how, AZAS INVEST has enough projects, for which it also provides funding and long-term financial resources.
