Market penetration has been growing steadily and cloud has taken share from legacy systems, but still the majority of the capacity action takes place in the traditional managed services delivery model. 8 Templates and self-service Tieto Cloud Server provides template-based automated capacity provisioning services for the customer. Ready-made, standardized templates enable faster and more effective implementation process for the user, while the service also offers the option to customize existing templates according to individual requirements. Self-service is one of the key convenience factors for users. Tieto Cloud Server provides an easy-to-use self-service portal for capacity ordering, change and decommissioning functions. It also provides monitoring, management, security and data protection services for capacity, all in one package. Location Most Nordic customers appreciate having their data stored close to their operations and available everywhere. Tieto Cloud Server services are provided from Tieto s modern and energy-efficient data centres in Finland and Sweden. Customers can select between single-site and dual-site services, as well as dual-site including fast disaster recovery. The primary production pod is located in Finland. All data centres are connected together with fault-tolerant and at least doubled network connections. For customers having operations in the Americas and Asia Pacific region, we offer the opportunity to deploy capacity from one of two new data centre locations close to them: Atlanta and Singapore.
