Conducted extensive training of the regional sales group on new products and branding strategies. Product Brand Manager, Sustainable Building Products ( ) Responsible for growth and profitability of sustainable building products. Managed new product development, pricing, and sales promotion. Conducted extensive training of the national sales force on new products, pricing, and branding strategies for product line sales exceeding $850 MM. District Sales Manager, California portion of Western Region ( ) Responsible for sales growth and account profitability of roofing products. Managed sales, pricing, and sales promotions. MILITARY EXPERIENCE United States Marine Corps (Reserve) Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) ( ) Conceptualized, developed, and published the latest modular capabilities approach to force deployment for artillery within the US Marine Corps areas of operations on the Korean peninsula. (Marine Corps Gazette, July 2006) Lead a team charged with evaluating and recommending improvements in an integrated, automated system for the clearance of airspace operations over a theater of operations. The team s recommendations lead to measurable improvements in the speed of system operations and the safety of thousands of personnel. Earned a Master s degree in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College July Major (O-4) ( ) Increased maintenance productivity over 300% by initiating a program that increased the number of critical quality assurance representatives from zero to twelve in fewer than six months. Prior to having these trained personnel, workflow bottlenecked in this area while waiting for outside (higher echelon facilities) to perform the function. Directed Family Readiness preparations and acted as the ombudsman for all deployed Marines families and interfaced with all appropriate family service agencies. Utilization of support agencies increased 40% through revamping of the unit website, greatly improved awareness of available services for dependants. Completed Command and Staff College April 2001.

PAGE 4 United States Marine Corps (Active Duty) Captain (O-3) ( ) Designated tactics and weapons instructor in air combat and subject matter expert in several highly complex air-to-ground weapons systems. Also served as an instrument and aircraft systems training evaluator. Organized and directed several enterprise wide workplace safety programs as Director of Safety and Standardization. Supervised and conducted the recurrent training and testing of personnel and performed periodic inspections and evaluations of workplace facilities. Team Leader on three major accident investigations. Developed recommendations study that produced significant changes in material design and operational procedures greatly increasing readiness through reduced potential loss rates. Received intensive specialized workplace safety training (OSHA equivalent) through the Naval Postgraduate School to facilitate role as Director of Safety. Graduated number 2 of 42 students from the program. First Lieutenant (O-2) ( ) Responsible for flight missions protecting national security as well as overseeing the performance and well fare of up to 300 Marines. Coordinated and organized multinational operations with representatives from numerous Asian Pacific nations. Supervised maintenance operations conducted on an aircraft inventory valued in excess of $500 MM. Second Lieutenant (O-1) ( ) Attended Basic Officer School and Flight School.
