The development of the Industrial Park of Szolnok also comes under this company. This organizational structure can assure the harmonization of the development of the synergistically connected industrial park and logistics centre. 3

6 Industrial Park EAGLE OTTAWA Hungary Ltd. The american Eagle Ottawa, which is one of the most important leather suppliers in the automotive industry. The company settled its European Production Headquarters in the Szolnok Industrial Park in This plant employs about 400 person.

7 Industrial Park BSM Hungary Ltd. Since 2006 has been operating BSM Hungary Metal Processing Ltd, the member of the french Le Belier group of automotive companies. This plant produces precision parts in Szolnok with employment of 300 people.

8 Industrial Park F. SEGURA Ltd The spanish automotive company, F.Segura started the production in It produces metal parts. This plant employs about 50 person.

9 Industrial Park HIGI PAPIRSOFT HIGI Papirsoft will be one of the most up-to-date paper production plants in the world. It will start the production of hygienic paper products in summer 2010 with about 100 employees.

10 Industrial Park STADLER Trains Ltd. The swiss STADLER Trains started the production in its aluminium railway carriage plant at the end of 2008.This plant employs about 130 person.

12 Logistics Service entre After considering the size of the country, its economic activity, transportation infrastructure and geographical location the Ministry suggested the establishment of a nationwide network of 11 logistical districts and 13 logistics service centers in the approved conception. The Szolnok Logistics Service Center belongs to the countrywide logistics center network of 13 centers where the intermodulality is basic requirement. 12

13 Logistics Service entre In 1994 in the spirit of these guidelines preparations started to form the logistics service center in Szolnok with the participation of the County of Jász- Nagykun- Szolnok, the Mayor Office of County Rank Town of Szolnok and the Hungarian State Railways PLC. 13

Rail Service Hungaria Kft. rents combined transport terminals from MÁV (Hungarian State Railway Company) and provides terminal service from the center. 2. Rail Cargo Hungaria Zrt. Directorate in Szolnok, organizes, oversees and directs the movement of goods on railways in the region. 16

19 Logistics Service entre Mission The mission of the Logistics Center is to provide complex and high level logistical services for the economical infrastructure in the range of the center together with the other logistical service providers that are integrated into its work. Vision The Logistics Center has dual vision: It wants to resolve the storage of raw materials, finished products, or even dangerous materials on its own area, using its advantages while provides the related complex logistical services and strengthens its clientele with new partners. By its favorable capabilities it wants to fulfill the role of the centre of a movement of goods from the Far-East to South-Eastern Europe that also includes the transfer of containers and the finishing activities. 19

20 Logistics Service entre Unique Selling Points Integrated logistics: the Szolnok Logistics Service Center as a regional, intermodal logistics center is the only complex, integrated logistical service provider in the region. The four different kinds of transportation are available in one administrational unit offer favorable transportation capabilities. It belongs to the same circle of owners, developers and operators as the Industrial Park of Szolnok. 20

Building the M-8 highway via Wienna, Graz, Székesfehérvár, Kecskemét, Szolnok to the CIS countries and Romania avoiding the overcrowded roads of Budapest as planed by the governmental and European Union development conception, Szolnok would become a town with one of the best transportation capabilities in the country. 3. 22 Logistics Service entre RAIL km SEA km Manzhouli / Zabajkalsk Szolnok Chop / Zahony The center handles containers for CMA-CGM international container company from the port of Koper to Szolnok by rail and handles the containers for Far East Land Bridge Ltd. arriving on railroad operating direct railway connection from the Far-East. The Rail Service Hungaria operates the container terminal as a renter in Szolnok. Together with the Rail Cargo Hungaria it was taken over by Rail Cargo Austria AG (RCA). According to the announcements from the new owner it plans to achieve serious development in the intermodal transportation and container traffic to gain higher turnover and market share. 22
