This program uses Oracle 10g curriculum as specified by Oracle Corp., and has a minimum GPA requirement of C+. Completion Requirements Oracle 10g Database Associate PROGRAM CODE 7354 The first step toward earning the highly respected Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) status is to earn the Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) credential. With 10g, Oracle has launched an apprentice skill level for the beginning IT professional, OCA, which provides foundational knowledge with Oracle technologies and credentials for entry-level employment opportunities. OCAs are qualified to be junior IT team members working with database administrators or application developers. The candidate will gain skill and ability through the combined efforts of Oracle hands-on training and on-the-job experience, leading first to the OCA and then the OCP. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) This certification is for those individuals wishing to demonstrate proficiency in one of the Microsoft platforms. Successful completion of one certification exam allows an individual to become an MCP. Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) in Windows 2003 Server This certification is primarily designed for those individuals who wish to implement, manage, and maintain the Microsoft computing environment of medium- to large-sized companies. In order to become a MCSA the candidate must successfully complete three core exams and one elective exam. Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) in Windows 2003 Server This certification is designed for those wishing to plan, design, and implement Microsoft Windows server solutions and architectures in medium- to large-sized companies.
