Our centre is in the beautiful region of Cornwall in the south-west of England (about 350 km from London). Cornwall is famous for its dramatic coastline and long, sandy beaches. Our holidays are fun, adventurous and safe, and there is the opportunity to meet other people and make new friends. You can do a wide range of activities including waterskiing, surfing, windsurfing, sailing, climbing, snorkelling, abseiling and mountain biking. We have courses for all levels from beginner to advanced. So, no previous experience of the activities is necessary. The accommodation is fairly basic, but comfortable. We have a choice of self-catering rooms, caravans or camping. All the rooms have the necessary equipment for making snacks and light meals. If you don t want to cook in the evenings, you can always eat out at one of the many pubs and restaurants nearby or come along to our evening barbecue. If you are tired in the evening you can relax in our TV and recreation room. Alternatively, we have a lively evening social programme with something for everybody seven nights a week. You can watch and listen to live bands, dance at our weekly disco, go bowling or take part in our competitions, quizzes and games. Accommodation, lessons and equipment are all included in the price and there is also free transport. He won it in 1996, 1997 and then again in He was Chief Designer at the French Haute Couture House Givenchy from October 1996 to March McQueen was born in the East End of London in He was one of six children and his father was a London taxi driver. He left school when he was sixteen and became an apprentice on Savile Row. Alexander McQueen fashion designer This is the famous London street where the British aristocracy and the rich and famous buy their clothes. He then worked for a company which makes theatrical costumes. When he was twenty, Alexander began work with Koji Tatsuno, a well-known Japanese fashion designer and then went to Milan to work for Romeo Gigli, a designer famous for his luxurious women s clothes. When he returned to London, McQueen completed an MA at St. Martins School of Art where other famous designers like John Galliano, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Katherine Hamnett and Hussein Chalayan studied. It was quite funny on Friday because I went walking and got lost! In the evenings I saw some live bands and went to the disco and one evening I won a prize in the quiz!
