9 HAIR IN RECOVERY This unique training programme has been developed in partnership with an expert independent trichologist, to provide a dedicated referral provision for clients with medical hair loss. Hair in Recovery incorporates elements of trichology and covers a multitude of hair and scalp issues including alopecia, telogen effluvium plus the effects of chemotherapy. During the practical session, stylists will receive refresher training on forming the perfect bond and micro bonding. 10 DIPLOMA This is the ultimate in hair extensions education. Each stylist will be required to present both a mood board and portfolio to the Creative Director. The mood board should reflect the hair extensions work they will be carrying out on the day. During the practical session, stylists will need to demonstrate formation of the perfect bond, whilst using creative colour techniques to successfully blend shades. Following the initial finished look, the stylist will demonstrate and present a hair up design. The final session is a trichology and ethical sourcing written questionnaire which forms part of the assessment process. Hot-Bonded System Hair Type New Euro Hair: This blend of Indian remy hair (70%) and Chinese remy hair (30%) is the ultimate quality. It can be curled, straightened (up to 160ºC), coloured (up to 6% peroxide) and even permed. Hot-Bonded New Euro hair can be worn for at least six months with regular maintenance and rotation. Standard Hair: This Chinese cuticle hair is available in Softwave and Deepwave options. A lower grade than the New Euro hair, it can be worn for eight to twelve weeks. Only a wide tooth comb (never a brush) should be used on Standard Softwave or Deepwave hair. Pre-Bonded System Hair Type New Euro Hair: This blend of Indian remy hair (70%) and Chinese remy hair (30%) is the ultimate quality.
