The College Illinois Transcript Exchange (CITE), sponsored by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), allows high schools to send transcripts electronically at no cost to them or their students to more than 300 colleges and universities in the Midwest. 2

3 ISAC/Parchment Easy to implement service, all school costs subsidized by ISAC & ISBE. Student- initiated transcript request portal avail 24/7 parchment.com Dedicated Parchment resource for training and student outreach Administrator support line for school staff The College Illinois Transcript Exchange (CITE) * Participating colleges in Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) states * Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin * All requests to electronic destinations within the MHEC states are free * Communication is key and Parchment will provide a transcript order button to be placed on the school or district website * Registration is easy and just a few steps. * Electronic MHEC Receivers- FREE * Non- MHEC Electronic Receivers~$2.55 * Paper only schools, employers, other states~$4.25 3

4 Training Process * Initial webinar held across district HS * Training is done through web room conference line * One hour schedule with guidance staff at the school * Schools will also have a point of contact to work with the school admin on adopting the service and promoting to students * Support portal and support line for staff Parchment Process * It can be easily and quickly implemented this year * Once an alumni transcript is uploaded, it doesn t have to be uploaded again ( a time savings for guidance) * It's done. No printing, no signing, no crimping, no putting in an envelope and addressing and stamping. 4

5 More on the Parchment Process * Another plus is at the end of the school year, when you have your graduates needing their final transcripts sent * Parchment double checks to make sure the request and the transcript matches up. * Another plus is in early September you have graduates who forgot to send their final transcript to their college and they want it sent immediately. * Ability to order with credit/debit card Parchment Waiver info * Students that qualify for the College Board or ACT fee waiver will qualify for a Parchment fee waiver * If a student needs a Parchment fee waiver then the admin will be able to assign the fee waiver to that student within the school s Parchment account * Once assigned the student will have 4 fee waivers available for requests where there is a fee applicable (excludes international and overnight) 5

6 The 6 th semester * 6 th semester enrollment info is uploaded to ISAC for the State Scholar Program. * Scholars are the top 10% of the students at each school * Students are recognized and sent letters their senior year & are recognized in May by their high schools * Scholars are given priority consideration by colleges and universities. Congrats to all Class of 2015 IL State Scholars Springfield Public Schools has 81 Students who will be recognized by their high schools at the end of the year! 6
