The strategic objective of the Park is to make Suwałki an attractive place of reciprocal connections between science and business, enabling the transfer of technology and innovative forms of economic activity and investment. The complex of the buildings of the Park built at the end of 2012 is composed of: Technology Incubator and a complex of laboratories: Chemical Product Research Laboratory, Medical Laboratory, Renewable Energy Laboratory, Multimedia Laboratory, H all of Logistic and Production Processes, and the Conference C entre.

12 TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF SUWAŁKI Power supply network four 110/20kV stations Heat supply network covers 70% of the city heat demand Gas supply network currently implemented investment by the Polska Spółka Gazownictwa Sp. z o.o. including the construction of ca. 25 km of new pipelines and a LNG regasification station with two pressure reduction and metering stations. In 2012, LNG regasification station was built by private entities in the Suwalki Special Economic Zone. Moreover, there are ca. 24 km of existing pipelines which are being used to distribute propane-butane for local housing. Water-supply and sewage network providing services to almost 100% of the inhabitants with running water and 95% as regards the disposal of the communal sewage. Supplementary to the water supply and sewage networks are municipal water intakes, a water treatment plant and a modern sewage treatment.
