8 We have proven and substantial experience of NGA deployment in the UK Large scale, rapid deployment We are investing 2.5bn to bring fibre NGA to 2/3 rd of the country We have already deployed to over 13m premises, with 3 million premises passed last quarter We are on track to complete by the Spring of 2014, 18 months ahead of schedule It s one of the fastest, largest fibre NGA deployment in the world Delivered by over 5,000 engineers Proactive retail marketing We already have over 550k BT infinity end users 6% take up This has been achieved through competitive retail pricing, investment in retail branding (BT Infinity) and proactive advertising and and marketing We have engaged local communities Race to Infinity programme British Telecommunications plc Page 8
