3 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES RSIA (ARIS, in Romanian) mission is the instatement of high professionalism, ethics and quality standards within the. Main objectives : To promote an impartial, complete and correct public image over the Security Industry; To closely cooperate with regulatory bodies in order to improve the Security Industry regulatory frame for the benefit of both Security Industry and Public; To mobilize all the Security Industry s stakeholder efforts to support the ideas of a fair competition between security companies and other security operators; To raise the level of professionalism within the Security Industry by initiating and undertaking qualification programs and courses. To initiate, support and undertake, researches, surveys and studies related to the Security Industry s area of interest. To contribute to the security profession enhancement by enabling Romanian security professionals the access to professional education, training, relevant researches results, and international expertise; To collaborate with other similar national ad international bodies, organizations and institutions, developing common programs and exchange of information. 4 GENERAL ASSEMBLY The General Assembly consists of all the founder members, active members, associated members. Founder and active members have full voting rights. The associated members have limited voting rights. Correspondent members do not have voting rights. Association 4
5 BOARD OF DIRECTORS The members of the Board of Directors are elected by the General Assembly. The members of the Board are, as following: Gabriel Badea President Adrian Paleu Vice-president Andrei Rosu Doru Dragne General Secretary Association 5
6 MEMBERSHIP Can become members of RSIA both companies (through their representative) and individual professionals who are actively involved in at least one of the Security Industry s sectors as follows: manned guarding, alarm to response, close protection, cash in transit, electronic security equipments producers, distributors, installers, physical security products manufacturers, distributors and installers, security solutions providers, security consultants. In order to become a member, the candidates must have credentials from at least 2 active members and their candidacy must be approved by the members of General Assembly. Association 6
