2 The history of air ambulance dates back to unsophisticated balloon transports of injured soldiers during the Crimean War in the 19th century, through the early years of aviation, the Korean and Vietnam conflicts to the present when air medical transport is virtually everywhere in the world. Rotor-wing services take patients from rural and remote environments. Fixed- wing services provide speed and International capability.

3 INTERNATIONAL FIXED WING With the significant increase in international travel the fixed wing air ambulance industry has grown considerably in the past 25 years. These travelers not only impact the economies of the different destinations the visit. They also have open new ways for businesses. The destinations are in constant change and vary depending on several factors such as economy, security and overall perception.

4 KEY COMPONENTS AIRCRAFT These vary from small turboprops and light and medium jets. STAFF AND EQUIPMENT Staff consist of dispatchers, Pilots, physicians, Nurses, Paramedics and Sales personnel. CLIENT BASE Clients vary from Travel and Primary Insurance to physician and hospital referrals. LIABILITY INSURANCE This is a must for both aircraft and medical personnel. CERTIFICATIONS CAAMTS, EURAMI

5 CHALLENGES INCREASE OF TRAVEL TO UNDEVELOPED REGIONS GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION SECURING PAYMENT HOSPITAL ADMISSION LIABILITIES
