1 CURRICULUM VITAE Hector Espinosa Senior Engineer Consultant of Project Nexus HISTORY Twenty five years of experience in structural and civil engineering, port and harbors, project development and construction, working on site and at home office. Expertise in civil and structural disciplines for mining mega projects, urban building projects and ports and harbors facilities. In the mining area he has worked in several EPCM project, among them : El Tesoro project, Oxide Project, Sulphide Leach Project, Ma adem Project, El Morro Project, Quellabeco Project and Las Bambas Project. The positions in these mining project have been several, among them CSA structural engineer, project engineer, engineering manager and area manager, on site as well as in home office. Among the mining facilities involved in the EPCM mining project where important skills have been achieved are the following: Marine facilities (including ports and suction and discharge water pipelines 540 L/s), desalination plants, water and sewer plants, pads and lixiviation pads, ponds, pipelines, roads, railroads, power lines, pump stations, fuel and water tanks, mining buildings (Stock piles, domes, EW, concentrators, screening, crushing, ancillary buildings, camps, SX..), overland conveyors, elevated conveyors, retaining walls (concrete and earth reinforced), massive earth works platforms, dumping places, borrow places. The project consists on the relocation of two primary crushers and all related facilities. Several options are being analyzed which include demolitions, mine haul truck operation platforms, earth reinforced walls, crushers, elevated conveyors, bins, transferring towers, concrete retaining walls, corrugated tunnels, and other facilities. Definitive Feasibility Study Manager, and Risk Manager. The project consisted on an aluminum plant and all its related facilities. Further project description is not included on this resume. The main tasks of the Feasibility Report Manager consisted on the definition, planning, and execution of the Final Feasibility Report, including the coordination and control of all specialist and subcontractors in several languages (such as Arab, English and Spanish), The task included definition of procedures, schedule, QA/QC, table of content, and the coordination for the development of each report section and its appendixes. As a Risk manager coordinator during the lasts months of the project, the main tasks consisted on the management of project risk and business risk. The feasibility study was developed in Brisbane, Australia, and has completed its first stage.
